id this video helped you, please post a comment. by removing the seat your airbag light will come on. may require a reset after. do your own research. 2023 model 3
Hey, thanks for posting this. I'm wanting to remove the passenger seat in my 2018 Model 3 for more space. You mentioned the "airbag light" will come on in the description and may require a reset. Will this get rid of the error messages related to the missing airbag? Is the reset the one where you go into Service and change your tire size and then back again? What else have you learned from removing your seat? Also, are you replacing it or leaving it out? Thanks for any help you can provide! :) - N
Thanks it is helpful!
I appreciate you bro!!!! Great vid! Exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks for this.

@@ipartoutstudio Got it. Thanks for the reply.
For the wire along the rail, do you need to disconnect the 12v/16v battery and turn off the car in order to unplug that table?
We didn't but may help not to trigger airbag light. Ours was on so didn't care
@@ipartoutstudio Thank you for the quick reply!
Do you have to turn on the power my vehicle got shut down due to a accident pyro fuse I don’t want to turn my vehicle on just in case
@@coreymiller2160 if you don't need to move them. Then no power
@@ipartoutstudio I need to replace them because the airbags went on I want to move my seats but do they need power to be moved?
Can you drive the car without a passenger seat? Does it throw any codes?
@@BalconyBoyzInc not sure. Airbag error for sure
