I can’t thank the player enough for posting this play through. This was my FAVORITE video game as a kid and just hearing the chimes in the intro brought back so many memories!

JayLeeBeanz no, i just mean graphics wise, not perspective or gameplay wise. even though i think personally unleashed did the boost formula best. i just mean the same exact game but graphically updated.

I hope Sonic Frontiers (new upcoming Sonic game) has more playable characters. That would be really cool. And I want each character's story connected to the main story.

Absolutely love this game. 25 now and look back on this game very fondly. Mystic Ruins has me feeling so nostalgic and honestly, it ignited my love for travelling, exploring and wanting to see new places. Will always love this game to bits.
This is the first game that my older brother showed me about a decade ago and it still fills me with joy to run on the pre-programmed loops
Is it wierd that I view gamma's story as a legitimately decent story that is heavily underrated?
I have to agree with that. Just played through it again and it does have a rather satisfying conclusion.
And I have a feeling that Omega is pretty much designed after Gamma, so I guess the Sonic Team must've liked the story too.
"Decent story" is just underselling it, it is one of the best stories in the entire franchise.
Encapsulates the themes of Sonic pretty well.
Yeah he gets a really sad ending in the end. He’s the only one where he dies at the end of his story

Oh man, this game's story is so much more of an incoherent mess than I remember it being, but it holds a special place in my heart all the same
It made so much sense when I was 9 tho...
Everybody is calling it a mess because they didn't played the Dreamcast version or the betterSADX mod which are clearly better versions of the game.

@@jeffreyali1456 It isn't but when people reviewed that game negatively they pointed out the problems with the worse collision and controls in the DX version. The spindash feels a bit awkward in the DX version from what I played.

Even after 20 years, I still think this game holds up pretty well. It may not be perfect & there are certain parts of the game that has age. But despite all that, I still think Adventure 1 is an great game & one of the best games of the series.
I actually prefer Adventure 1 over Adventure 2 to be perfectly honest.

It's been about over 20 years since I played Sonic DX. I remember coming home from school at grandma's house to play my GameCube while she cooked me some chicken and other favorite meals. I still have it somewhere and my GC still works. Great childhood memories... ☺️

This is just a great game, when I was 10 years old, I loved it very much, but at that time it was difficult for me! now, after 10 years, I passed it and had a great pleasure!!!!!
Watched this video all the way. Mostly cuz it helped me but these are memories I still remember not finishing this on the Dreamcast because big the cat was hard for me back in the day. So I decided to do it again but on the GameCube so thanks for the awesome play through keep doing it.

I think, if anything, a remaster would FIX the controls. I just hope they don't remove side features like the Chao Garden, THAT is my worry!

This was by far and still remains the best 3D Sonic game. The Dreamcast was such a great console.
In my opinion sonic colors or sonic forces or sonic Generations are the best 3d sonic games

If SEGA makes a Sonic Adventure Remake, We all want to see Cream The Rabbit being a playable character again, and have her own story ( even though she wasn't originally in the dreamcast version ) and Chaos Forms 3 and 5
Imagine Sega create a remake the sonic adventure and sonic adventure 2 and sonic heroes and sonic 2006 remake in 2020...simply amazing... This game is realy gold!

I remember seeing the intro of this game back on the dreamcast when it came out and i really felt the next generation had begun! Still one of my favorite titles on the system, including the beautiful soundtrack.

I remember when I first played Casinopolis I was so scared of getting less than 100 rings that I tryharded the pinball section and got 120+ rings the first try. I was really confused by Tails's version of Casinopolis as a result because I hadn't seen that part of the stage before.

I love how eggman appears out of nowhere when sonic drops a chaos emeralds haha like he’s hiding in bush waiting for sonic to keep dropping the emeralds
