I love how the further you proceed through the lessons you can see the less and less views the videos get which tells you how many people just gave up while going through...
Me too! How are you holding up?
I was thinking the sameee
some people with music backgrounds skip this kind of video tho, i've used metronome before in my other instrument learning. I just skim through this one to see if there's anything specific that I need to know
Well it gets trickier. I’m glad you’re still here. I’m still here too.
@@knunniek.9304 Me too! :)
just been about 2 months. used to borrow before got got a guitar for myself recently.
Justin is the best guitar teacher on the internet!
Him and Steve Stine
I can't believe your teaching me guitar for free. . . this is amazing
I'll tell you right now, I've been using yousician for like 3 months and i got nearly nowhere. This guy already taught me more than ever.
Well yt's paying him because of the count of views.
@@yeonjunpambansanglambinger8386 he doesnot get as much.
+ he runs a totally badass website, also for free. he mainly runs on donations so we should all help him help us.(if we can obviously.)
Watching this in 2020 after picking up my first guitar 4 days ago, feel extremely grateful for Justin's guidance and wisdom!
Im doing this because and im actually learning something without paying , this guy is awesome!
"Metronomes are also good at inducing panic in people because they make you get things done at a consistent pace! If you are one of those (many!) people that are quite inconsistent with your One- Minute changes, a small amount of time doing the changes with the metronome might well help you sort that out. Playing along and making sure you hit a chord with every click (or every second click) is a really good way of developing your internal rhythm (and panic control!)." - From Justin's website.
It's funny how smartphones have replaced literally everything! Here talking about guitar tuner and metronome.
I was literally about to order a metronome from Amazon before i realized oh wait!
Seekh liya guitar bajaana?
10 years passed and I'm here 💓
Thanks a lot for your tutorial 💓💓
you just fixed your metronome in the middle of the lesson !!!
Thanks a lot for the lessons... i've been playing the guitar for almost 9 years now... but you've earned my trust that much that i've started to watch all you videos for extra details that i've left out ... so thanks again ... keep up the good work !
Clau
you have no idea how happy i get when i do my one min changes and find i've improved! Thankyou justin you're awesome!
Another awesome device for learning guitar is the loop station. Playing with a loop is like playing with a metronome, but you get the added benefit of laying down tracks to practice with (which is good recording practice as well).
you are the best guitar teacher IVE ever met on AND off the internet.
Orrrrrr.....There's some awesome metronome apps!!
justtellthemno which is the best?
K. Neff In the Google play store, I just use the one called "Mobile Metronome", it's pretty simple but has a good amount of time signatures and little features. Idk if it's in the Apple Appstore.
I like "soundbrenner" metronome app (android user)
Followed Justin for years. Cool guy and a great guitar teacher.
You are so great. Best youtuber n guitar teacher I've ever known. Love you!And thank you!
i come from playing trombone and piano and i use a app called Soundcorset tuner and metronome, i absoloutly love it it had many options for tuning and playing scales, and had SOOO many metronome options and even a custom one you make the rythem with drums and such
(not a advertisement)
I have watched this video like 7 times and am still unsure what I'm meant to do with a metronome. Do I just turn it on and strum to the beeps?
Yeah basically xD
I have this metronome, so this vid is really helpful, wondered what all the extras were for, cheers.
I need to put this on the to get list. Keeping time is a problem for me right now. I used to play the drums in school and yet I still have problems keeping time on guitar.
Great work man. Keep your great work up.
I dont need a private teacher anymore xD
You are awesome!
i have that same metronome, its on my desk, IM LOOKING AT IT RIGHT NOW!
Mr. Metronome is a good friend. Otherwise my timing sucks.
i'm no teacher, but it probably wouldn't hurt, especially for a "forcing the change" type scenario. By limiting how long you have to make your change (by the next metronome click, for example) you can actually make your switches quicker than if you had no time limit.
Thank you justin you're awesome!
The intro was hilarious 😂
Awesome lesson! Thanks :)
True. But this MA30 is available for only 18€ at thomann, I would definitely recommend to buy such a dedicated metronome, I think it's much more flexible and handy than a program on a computer.
i love him
he is amazing
justin thank you sir.
Weirdly I just bought a metronome and it was the exact one you bought!
Metronome killer!
Justin by the way you are amazing you really help me play My Guitar and I just want to know for this thing is there an app for it?
A metronome app, you mean? Justin actually has one of those on his website! It's near the top of the page, next to the search bar. If you're looking for a mobile app, just check your respective app store, there's loads of things like that.
/EDIT: Actually, Justin's got you covered regarding mobile apps, too, I noticed. Just check out the notes to this lesson on his website, he mentions that there.
same here!!! should i feel happy?
"I recommend this one mainly cause it's really good" LOL
!!! this is all really helpful and its great! thank you for putting this stuff up! im so ready to play guitar ahhh now i gotta get a new high e string bc mines gone o_o
@Ashitaka255 im with you man. im having trouble staying on beat for more than a minute or so. but everyone says practice makes perfect. i have yet to see it.
For anyone who doesn't have a metronome, just google it and you'll have one :)
Thanks! But also, it led me to an app (play store here)
How to use the Guitar Pro 5 metronome feature?
is it actually a good idea to use the metronome for the 1 minute changes? Like starting up with 60 for example and then increase it?
Cheers
How to use it ? Like what's the purpose ? How does it help ?
These days there on an iPhone :)
thnx
I have this exact metronome, but when I am practicing fast runs in say 3's or 4's I always set it to 1 beat. Because if I set it to 3 beats and I am playing in triplets I am not sure if that means I play one note every click or not, it gets very confusing.
Thank you/
hey, for some reason I cannot get this particular video to work :( Help please! Thx
Worth saying that you got a very good metronome applications for Android/Iphone so you don't really need to buy it. Just search for the metronome in your application store.
hey i have a question allthese beginnerguitar lessons can learnthem o a eletrc guitarcuse you do this on acostic
How can I use the MA-30 for a 6/8 time signature?
Is that 6/4 in double tempo?
I love you you're the best
somebody help me! i find it hard to follow a metronome on time but with a drummer i have no problem. is it better to follow a drummer or to play with a metronome?
You can also find metronome applications for your mobile/cellphone - Worth a try if you can't afford a real one.
K dude I have a question, I just bought a Korg metronome, im drummer, so my instrument is very loud, and when I plug in my earphones, only one ear works, is it suppose to be like that?
The Boss ones are good. They have different rhythms and everything.
go on his website (justinguitar . com) there there's all the lessons structured and after eachother
Is it ever too late to use a Metronome?
Yeah but there's suppose to be a snare hit on every "1" but i still would prefer buyin a metronome than a drum machine because it's cheaper but if I had the money a would buy a drum machine BTW your covers are nice
Wait I had the same exact metronome for piano
I saw this lesson months ago maybe a year ago and I came back to review it because I just forgot everything I learned in this lesson, not Justin fault it's my fault. xD
It was.
After 13 years, almost all the tools except the capo have been replaced by the smartphone 😅
Ebay £10.99 on it's way! How much did you pay Justin?
wooooooooooooow
Hello, Metronome-I'm Steve. Maybe we can become friends instead of enemies.
you can find click track on youtube if like me you dont have a metronome yet
Yousician is an awesome supplementary aid. It really does help. A lot better than rock smith.
Instead of buying a metronome just google it. Google provides a free metronome
i hope someone answers ur question, because im wondering that as well haha
people are crazy!!
they put a dislike button here wen it is needed very much on facebook!!
i put it on 0 beats and count the beep on the 2 and 4. but thats probably not for beginners.
hey justin how come you don't have that raccoon screaming into the camera at the end of the vids anymore?
wow.... nice 1st comment... haha nice!:D
ehh... thats the "korg ma-30" not "BC-125
Hoo that's great i will send you my address send it to my home 😎
yeah a drum machine is sometimes better than a "dut dut dut" of a metronome but IMO not always
Tasmanian Devil*
that wasnt a ratcoon that was a tasmanian devil
I thought that was a Tasmanian devil.
yes it was a tasmanian fukin devil :D
biiiiggg con ! XD sorry msiisteur !
I thought it was gonna be a capo lol
Don't find it funny. I don't know what you find funny in : Its really good. hmmm
God I hate the metronome. Am I only one who really struggles to stay on the beat? AAAARRGH!!! Driving me mad.
