They are great even with low power, theres a math n equations to make depending on your sub. they work great once u get the hang of it.

That's not a T-line enclosure. It's too small. A T-line enclosure for two 18's would take up the entire back end of a sprinter van. That's just a big ported mess.
Man I would've loved to be there when that thing was delivered (unless you picked it up of course:). Just the package alone would be a sight to see.

Man I was in the dollar store and oh boy had 3 team 15s shook the strip mall it was so loud and the bass was smooth and deep as fk everyone was in the store and I do mean everyone was like god 🦫 turn that ish down so my case and point is I’m leaning towards getting just 2 because that’s all you need for a daily driver but I am so impressed!

Mr.T-line yea that’s the good thing about yours. It’ll play pretty much anything while his is geared towards a smaller range which prob explains the smaller box. Idk I’m not a builder or a system wizard lol
@Mr.T-line also SMD system is older, you have newer more powerful subs THARAMPS amps are monsters he has 6 or 8 1k ROCKFORD FOSGATES so yeah newer car audio it really makes a difference

Be careful with Taramps! You need to study them and make sure you have them hooked up to great electrical with no voltage fluctuations and no vibration or flex on the amp.
streetbasser786 - Not for the money. You just need to know what you have and how to set it up. Most people who get Taramps can’t afford the good stuff, so they don’t spend money on proper electrical and mount them wrong, then complain after they blow. Another common mistake is improper impedance loads and not knowing the differences in their lineup. Used as intended they do alright, but no, they can’t take a beating like Fosgate or similar.

Was that a fatboy voltage regular? I have one in my Tahoe and my voltage will actually go up when its hitting hard, didn't know if that was common. I'm 50 and have loved car audio since the 80s but am just doing my first build of this size.
@Mr.T-line Mine only rises about 2/10ths or so at a time. But never drops below 14.9. Seems like it's a pretty good regulator. Loved your install.
Great design. Alot of rooks in the bass game talk crap on t lines because they are uneducated and cant build them if they wanted too. Thanks for showing this video jacob. Now the idiots that say that tlines with more than one big sub wont fit in a vehicle can hush up.
@Mr.T-line thanks. Love your setup mr t line!! I love the quarter wave design, its plays every frequency in the subs bandwidth more even than 4th and 6th orders do imo. And you can remove the box easily if you decide to sell the vehicle or change the system. I know their are guys with with louder one note wonder ported boxes , but they have to pick certain songs to play to get savage and you can play just about anything and have brutal bass. I admit t lines arent the easiest to build , but its worth it as your system shows. 154 on music is bad ass.
@Mr.T-line i also was wanting to ask what u set the bass boost at? I had mine set a little under half way and it worked perfectly with my setup. You may not even use it with as much headroom as you have lol. I was just wondering.
@Mr.T-line most 1/4 wave tlines suffer in the 40 to 60 hz when clamping below or right around rated power. Or at least mine did a little. Thats why i said you probly have the headroom to compensate lol. I had an md 5k on 2 peirce wmd 15s . So i was alittle below rated power. Your guy that built the box will tell you. Some setups are fine with ample power , alot depends on the tuning of the box or port lol,whichever one you want to call a tline. Alot depends on the builder . I see where you are coming from, yes you arent ever supposed to use bass boost , but you would be surprised of how many lower powered tline setups do use it. Helps flatten out the roll off so to speak , but with up to 20k on tap that may not be a prob idk.
@Mr.T-line its alot to explain, barevids and car audio fabrication channel shed light to what im explaining here. Soo many variables here, port taper, actual port length, so on and so forth but yes some tlines will benefit from around 4 to 6 db of bass boost at around 40hz depending on design. Once agian great setup and thanks for sharing your build .

In videos like this, it is a damn shame that video recording technology always seems to be about 20 years ahead of decent sound recording technology.
That box is way too small for it to be a decent t-line. If he went to B pillar instead of just C pillar, it would increase output

He still has 4 seats and tremendous output. People get confused with quarter wave versus full wave. Maybe you just need to hear it in person. This box is very musical

I design 1/4 wave boxes. I wasnt doubting that it didnt perform. What I am saying is that if that is 1/4 wave, that box is extremely small for a 29hz tuning. At 29hz, the port would have to be around 10ft long, and the port area for the most part needs to be equal to Sd of the subs. So, if he cut down his port area to squize it behind the C-Pillar, he is decreasing output exponentially.

@@codyscott1161 mines is based on sound qaulity...I'm only running 2 power hx2 Rockford fostgate subs and on low wattage just been bs around and haven't upgraded my amp yet...1 twelve is 2000watts rms with only 1000 going thru them ...sounds good tho nice and clear bass
