Well, someone picked both of mine, chocolate and/or coffee, but a coconut/tropical flavor would be nice. Otherwise, vanilla ALWAYS works.

How about a gelato that tastes like a Wendy's chocolate Frosty? That would tickle me as pink as this strawberry gelato! I love that this gelato has no strawberry extract or flavoring. Suggestion: use Fairlife milk to cut those carbs in half. Expensive, but seems to last forever in the fridge without souring.
Hi KC Texan! Like you, I used to love Wendy's frosties. From time to time I have experimented with making a frosty, but have never posted it - I appreciate your suggestion. I will look through my old files and see if I can resurrect and improve the recipe to make it more like a frosty.
I have not heard of Fairlife milk before but will look into it. I'm not sure whether it is available in Canada where I live, but sounds interesting.

I am with others & You! Chocolate coffee is my fav!! I feel the coffee brings out the best in choc! Eggnog is another super favorite!
Though much like I used to be with pizza - if it's ice cream, I will eat it!!

Hi Becky! I have not yet posted the pictures. As for the eggnog, chocolate and some of the other flavors, I have already made those as ice creams - so please check out the playlist at the end for all of the ice cream flavors.
I'm definitely going to make chocolate and coffee flavors as gelato, but I think that the egg nog is best as a thick custard-based ice cream. I'm not sure it would be at its best as a gelato.

In fact that's why I started making my custard ice creams like I do as the first egg nog one turned out SO well & I have an issue eating a LOT of ice cream 🤨😃
So I figured if it is loaded with eggs & beef collagen, how can I be upset with myself with eating a lot of ice cream!??

Hi Becky! I'm like you, I LOVE ice cream all year long! This summer I'm experimenting with gelato flavors as a change of pace.
I do make the egg nog ice cream around Christmastime, with my homemade eggnog (both videos are posted).
I absolutely agree with you. With all of the eggs, cream and other good ingredients, this is, in my opinion, a "no guilt" treat. 🙂
