I am running to the machine to stitch one of these up right now for my son who carries his AUVI-Q and inhaler in his backpack. Right now it is in a plastic bag. 🤣 this will keep it all in one place and you can see it clearly! Thank you, Erica!
What a great tutorial! Mine came out really cute. I watched your zipper instructions and thought, "I'm not going to need that, I won't pull my zipper off". And then instantly pulled my zipper off as soon as I cut it. So THANK YOU so much for including those instructions.
This is so sweet! Thank you so much for the wonderful class today, I appreciate your kindness and time to teach us to be successful...Have a Beautiful Blessed Day !!
I made several of the larger ones with some vinyl that I’ve had in my stash for years. They turned out great, I’m going to make some for Christmas gifts for my quilty friends! My vinyl was badly creased but I held a hair dryer set on warm over the worst of the creases and they mostly came out. I’m saving the smaller pieces of vinyl for the needle case which is up next for me. Thank you so much for all of your videos, I watch them over and over! ❤️
I'm learning so much from your videos. Just getting back into sewing didnt realize how much I missed it. Thank you for sharing all your great projects.
I love these see through pouches , you can see what is in there and it takes up less space in my sowing cubourd .... I still battle with the corners , but seeing again how you do it I hope I remember for the next one I will be making. Now I have 2 storage bags and masks to make . I have never enjoyed sowing like now . I use to make cloths but making these bags and pouches gives me so much more pleasure . ❤️❤️❤️❤️🛍🤣
I've found making these small projrcts to be very satisfying. I'm going to make a few potjolders to practice her binding connection hint. I can ways use more potholders!
Thank you. This is so cute. I've never seen binding connected so easily before! Just a ¼" overlap & its done! I'm going to make a couple potholders to practice it before I make this cute zipper pouch.
Hey Erica!! Love this easy pouch! I'd love to see how you make one with glitter inside, like between two layers of clear vinyl. I think that would be super fun ! Thanks!
Fabulous! I have pretty smaller zippers that I’ve been waiting for a cute fun project to use them in. This is it! Love the bloopers! Blessings and take care.
I love this. This would be great for me to store my USB sticks for my embroidery machine. It is just so cute. I was going to make some more of the big ones also. They are really great for all my projects. I love how easy you make it look for putting a zipper back together. I buy zippers by the yard and mine never go on that easy. I remember the old days if you messed up a zipper that was the end of the zipper. Thank goodness for progress.
This is an awesome pouch !!! Loved it ! I love making bags and have actually been called a baglady....Now I call that a compliment :) keep them coming:)
If I wanted to use charm packs to make this. Would I need to adjust just the 5.5" to 5"? Would I need to adjust the 3.75" piece of vinyl too? This is adorable by the way!
Love your videos!... so question, can you get additional zipper heads so if a zipper is too big and cut in half, the other half can be used too? Or does it not work like that? 🤔
Can you tell me, if you could or would have changed your Ikea sewing table, say made it roll up an down, or smaller, wider, not as big etc,, would you have? I'm getting ready to set my sewing room layout with Ikea. And am thinking of getting the roll up table/tables for cutting etc. So would you change anything now, I only have a single window but large closet to keep things put away out of sight. I have a back issue so height tables are important and immomly 5 ft tall. Please help, I value your opinion 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖Linda in Kansas
NOPE! I love my table so much! I wouldn't change a thing! If you need a taller table, maybe you can adjust the leg height some how? I have a friend whose husband made custom legs for her Ikea table top because she's taller, and it works great.
Thank you for your wonderful videos, I have proposed a challenge for you and thought you would be the perfect person for it and sent you an IM on Facebook
Want to make a vinyl pouch for soap and shampoo for camping! Will make some for our girls in the family ! Great video and instructions!
I didn’t have any vinyl BUT as I was searching I found a vinyl bag that a sheet set came in and took it apart to use the vinyl. Worked great. 😄
I am so glad you showed how to put the zipper back on if you cut it with the zipper in the wrong spot! Thank you!

Wow! I had been intimidated by making pouches and bags, not so much after watching your very instructional video. Thanks! 🙂
SEW CUTE! I love this. I just about had a heart attack when you took the zipper pull off! Thanks for the hint on how to put it back on!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a mini stroke when she did that lol 🤣
Will use this in my purse for see thru cosmetic bag

Your tutorials are my favorite! So clear, concise and cheerful! Thanks for your hard work.
I love your idea about using cloth instead of vinyl. I'll have to make some for my boy's diaper bag toys and crayons.
Thanks for showing how to put back the zipper. Love it can’t wait to make them.

Hi! It's my Vintage Glory quilt, and is linked in the description box below the video :)
I love that big one...
Thanks, here's a link to the big one: ruclips.net/video/OZTUiklqd94/видео.html
Hi Erika...I have these CUTE Lacy Zippers...
Would I Lay The Zippers On Top of the Lil Fabric that You Used for encasing The Zipper..??
Oh yes I would definitely put them on top of the outside so they show, that would be so cute!
If I wanted to use charm packs to make this. Would I need to adjust just the 5.5" to 5"? Would I need to adjust the 3.75" piece of vinyl too? This is adorable by the way!
Hi, yes you'll want to just resize the back squares to 5". Then you can adjust the vinyl, I usually eye-ball it to see what looks best :)
Great tutorial! Erica, what are the markings on your Juki throat and throat plate? Are they inked on seam guides?
They are a 1/4" tape from Cluck Cluck Sew, you can get it here: bit.ly/2B6rzS8v
Love your videos!... so question, can you get additional zipper heads so if a zipper is too big and cut in half, the other half can be used too? Or does it not work like that? 🤔
If you can get additional zipper heads, that fit perfectly I don't see why not?
Love the vinyl pouches. Where do you get your vinyl? Thank you.
I got mine from here: www.joann.com/4-gauge-vinyl-54in-clear/1151505.html
Do you have instructions for the bigger pouch?
Yes, here's a link to the big one: ruclips.net/video/OZTUiklqd94/видео.html
Sew cute as always 🧵

Oh sorry I forgot to link it! ruclips.net/video/OZTUiklqd94/видео.html
Thanks. What size needle do you use for this project?
Just my regular 90/14
Erica just downloaded your pattern, the vinyl on paper pattern says 5.5 x 5.75 not 3.75
Preciosa
