Thanks for showing opitons and highlighting the issue with the PIP / PAP. Like you say, possible updates may fix the issue. The likelyhood is, most people buying this monitor will be doing so because they want to experience PC gaming with higher screen res and with the increased size over the previous 49" models. The early adopters being people who are upgrading over those models and in particular owners of 7900XTX or the upcoming 7800 GPU that support DP 2.1. Cant believe you spent so much time showing consoles in fullscreen (Ahh Yuk/Boke). So I hope you can come back with another video to highlight how well the display is with sim titles with 32:9 high res gaming... This may be the best display to enjoy the new Forza Motorsport via PC.

Lol ...why? I do it just for full-screen websites etc It makes the text big bold and easy to read. You have to keep in mind this monitor is massive. It's way bigger than it appears on camera. So if I'm using the entire screen I scale up. Otherwise, everything is small and sucked to the middle leaving the sides empty. If I drop down to like a 16:9 aspect ratio I drop it to 100. If you decide to purchase take a look you might be surprised. Otherwise, I guess you can always arrest me lol 😆
Quick questions: 1. Does it have any dead pixels on arrival and after some usage? 2. Does it make any popping sounds after 15-20 minutes of turning it on & off? I had these issues with the G9 from 2020, and after 4 units/returns, I gave up and went with LG. I've been eyeing this 57" for a while and am hoping these 2 issues are fixed, or at least the popping sound goes away after some time and no dead pixels appear out of nowhere.

Thanks for this, but why didn't let us see some FPS games on it, and why not using the higher resolution on 120Hz instead?I don't want to buy this monitor for a PS5 or XBOX, any console works horrible with it and is only fine with 16:9 displays. Thank you for watching I originally had some more games but when I rendered my video they came out horrible. My camera lens was not able to keep up with high resolution fps i guess. It would have been a disservice to the monitor as it looked like it was choppy when it wasn't. I ordered a new lens for my camera And Hope to do more videos later.
The three HDMI inputs on the G9 are not identical, I wonder if your Xbox was plugged into the restricted HDMI port? If so, see if it works with both consoles plugged into the two full bandwith ones.

I had dead pixel on mine. And do not like the washed out colors it gives me. It I put it to high its washed out at the top, to low at the bottom. If eye in middle it's washed out in top and bottom but not in the middle. :/
That is unfortunate 😕 sorry that happened to you! Hopefully you are exchanging it for a new one? You don't want to miss out on this monitor its outstanding! When it is not defective of course 😉
@@JbTechFanatic I have the OLED 49 atm. Never used a OLED before, had the neo mini led 49 before. So after glossy and OLED all other screens looks so bad :) but the text on OLED is another story :( I have 30 days regret guaranty on the 57 so I will return it. And maybe buy a new one when they are back in stock again. I swapped my other mini led neo 3 times :(

Most graphics cards offer hdmi and dp. High end cards have hdmi 2.1 and dp. The future of gaming is in hdmi 2.1 and Dp2.1. This monitor offers you 1 of each of the best most advanced ports available. this is great for now and to future proof you. If you need to run two separate outs this monitor allows you to have two high quality signals at the same time.

Bro no matter what setting I change the screen is still dark.. Wish mine would get that bright.

What is the virtual aim point like? Does it have a single dot as an option? I like the Asus single red dot. This is a deal breaker for me, I'd rather not need to physically draw one on the monitor.

I had dead pixel on mine.
And do not like the washed out colors it gives me. It I put it to high its washed out at the top, to low at the bottom. If eye in middle it's washed out in top and bottom but not in the middle. :/
That is unfortunate 😕 sorry that happened to you! Hopefully you are exchanging it for a new one? You don't want to miss out on this monitor its outstanding! When it is not defective of course 😉
@@JbTechFanatic I have the OLED 49 atm. Never used a OLED before, had the neo mini led 49 before. So after glossy and OLED all other screens looks so bad :) but the text on OLED is another story :( I have 30 days regret guaranty on the 57 so I will return it. And maybe buy a new one when they are back in stock again. I swapped my other mini led neo 3 times :(

@@JbTechFanatic true. But none of my devices support hdmi2.1. So unless you can get that support over thunderbolt 3 it’s a bit useless
@yodaturton very true .. just thinking out loud...one thing that you can do is get a dp to hdmi cable. This way you at least have a extra option.

one more time making TV as a monitor ! fail like 55'' odyssey ark TV. 1 display port only wow ( pc Gamer and Video Card use Display port ! not HDMI and having only one mean try to fix only half of the problem and epic fail of the 55'' odyssey ark TV ) We gamers and video Card use DP and we want 2 not only 1 fail!!!!!! dont buy wait until the fix that ( that person good seller not good revierw)
