Use to be reserved for the best pilots in the time of the f2, cl 13 and mig 15 bis being the top dogs. even to an extent when the hunter f1 came in. but gajin are promoting this game as cold war/modern tech game so they have to keep players that only want that. frustrating

For a ground attacker basically modified to do interception duty it's decent, but still a bit too heavy for a conventional purpose-built fighter. Oh btw, the Lansen is technically not based on the Hunter, they both made their first flights the same year in 1951, 4 months apart from each other. It's basic design comes from various unbuilt Messerschmidt designs like the P1101 and P1110 designs
Close but no lollipop, it was the predecessor J29 that had clear similarities to proposed designs for Messerschmitt Me P1101 and also Focke Wulf Ta-183 Huckebein. The first aircraft after the war in the west with swept wings, while the Soviet MiG-9 and Mig-15 also borrowed heavily from the German designs and even used reengineered BMW engines at first.
Correct that the Hunter had nothing to do with Lansen, and indeed was heavily influenced by designs that never came close to being realised, and were quite ahead of its time. But Lansen leans more toward designs supposed to replace the Schwalbe or ME-262. All of which were designs only and not even close to even be test flown. And the Germans would not have used a single engine configuration as they could not build jet engines with a power over about 11000 newton.
I don’t think he was saying that the Lansen is based off the Hunter, but rather that the Lansens engine is a variant of the Hunters Avon engine.

Exactly. You can't expect your team to be there for you when you literally rush in on the deck, leaving them all behind. You will be the first plane the enemy team sees. And _most_ players will dive on the first thing they see.

Yeah but in something like a G91R3 or F2 Sabre you can carry even if you end up in a 1v3 or so situation by the end of the match, plus those 2 also have an easier time at clearing the six of teammates even if they dont even try to bait.
But you can lose always like me in my F-4C phantom. Lost about 2.1 million in 1 week.

That's my problem with rush attacking, sometimes half the turkish family comes after my cl13... Then I am just stuck running/climbing till my team comes in or they turn around after 3 minutes of my life
Yeah I've kinda given up on playing war thunder alone. When i play with my friends we have 80-90% win rate and when i play alone my whole team dies in head on attempts or they crash when landing or taking off. Like wtf? How can somebody who has already unlocked jets, still crash while taking off?

I might be missing something, but you ran to the opposite end of the map, admitted you are faster than your team, then get upset when they don't come help you? If you use a tactic that takes you away from your team i don't feel you should be upset if they don't help. I get it sometimes teams suck, but you need them and they need you. I do love your content keep it up.
Professional's drama. But he is playing an aircraft that likes a strategy involving a team that has the ability to easily and effectively communicate with him and he isn't playing with squadmates this game was completely his fault in every way shape or form.
he isnt upset that the teammates didnt help him after he ran away. he is upset that the average KDR on his team is 0.5 ZERO POINT FIVE. that is rediculously bad. he left the team. killed 2 enemies, came back to the team, and his entire team had died. his team was incompetent, not him.

No one would play as the backseater, which in most cases is just the bomblayer or radar operator. Besides you alr get this sort of thing if you stick around after you die :P
i feel spit's pain i get those teammates that do nothing most of the time .... especially playing with allies
Some teamwork examples would be great, especially for the allied prop pilots who have a hard time fighting axis at around the 5.0 battle rating range

Had at least 1 AFK player in Jets Allied nations, mostly hiding in hangars on the runway. It's quite frustrating.
If you expect teamwork in WT with randoms you gonna have bad time. It's better to assume that your team is trash and maybe be pleasantly suprised, so you focus your tactics around you not around your team eg. different positioning, play styles (baiting, dogfights, bnz).
If you play 7.0 - Germany, before the AB+ MM kicks in, you can most definitely expect teamwork.
Especially Allied Air RB; US props in particular have a VERY high emphasis on teamwork due to their generally slow climb and terrible MER compared to other nations. Then again, there are moments where your team, having been reduced to the ragtag group of around 2-3 fighters who actually bothered to side climb manage to avoid the massacre down low and come out on top over the remaining enemies.
Soooo I just unlocked the A5 Sabre and got most of the upgrades. But I am struggling hard. Any tips on how to get around the lack of acceleration? It's great at dogfighting in the horizontal, but any sort of vertical maneuvers and you lose all your energy without hopes of getting it back. And I don't know how to deal with that ;~;
Learn defensive flying , also climb a bit about 1km of alt , so you can always dive if you loose some speed .
@@rabbischlomobengoldbergstein meta right now is that everyone climbs to at least 3km altitude, but if you climb in the A5 then you don't have time to build speed, so you have to go for one or the other if you want to end up in the actual fight. Defensive flying only works if someone commits to you, but if the mig 15 on your ass just pulls up as soon as he gets close than all those fancy rolls won't help you at all. I guess the only thing the A5 can do is play the support role for better fighters :/

Are you climbing properly? In jets, you’re supposed to get your max speed ( about 800km/h is usually enough ) and zoom climb ( you can get to 6km this way ). If you climb like this, you can easily become the highest plane in the match and you’ll still have some speed left if you only climb to 4km.
@@prestonang8216 this works with a powerful jet like a mig 15 bis. If you get the A5 to 800kmph and then pull up your nose to 20 degrees, you might go up to 3km altitude before you hit 500kmph.
Edit: just tried it, you can get exactly to 3km before your speed goes too low. This plane just doesn't climb for shit because the engine is too weak.

I (maybe foolishly) went down the British tree and have the Meteor and Vampire but I struggle like crazy with the differences between the props and jets, I might need to find tutorials or i'll just stick to props for the meantime.
Skip the mig 9 but the mig 9l is my favorite plane in the game so its the worth the wait
Craig S the metors with the clipped wings are worth it trust me. I have most British jets and I thought they were trash till I got the clipped winged ones. Turn fight at low alt and low speed. They perform great.
Worst decicion ever made. You should of never grinded china. J7II is not good. I would give up on china and go grind germany or russia. Those are the top dogs now due to the new migs they have.

Kinda late saying this in 2021, but if you're low on fuel and being chased, try your hardest to keep your altitude and gain some more. If for nothing else than to just buy you some time to figure out what to do, get some separation and to get support from your teammates if any are left. Fuel consumption is MUCH lower at altitude - that's how you keep the swift f1 going for a long match while maintaining high thrust - keeping your altitude and picking your targets to minimise time spent at low altitude where fuel consumption and drag is much higher.
Yes please show us teamwork videos. Cause its so frustrating to even fly planes. Players suck and dont learn from their mistakes. They climb slow and get into sitautions that turns into turning and getting slow and dying. Totally agrree with u spit.

The J32 is not based on the Hawker Hunter. It’s a Saab design of its own. The J34 however, ARE Hawker Hunters. They are named J34 Hawker Hunter in the Swedish airforce. They were bought to reach targets on high altitude while waiting for the production of J35 Draken. The J28 and J29 could not intercept on high altitude.

Seems you run into the same thing I do at high tiers. I love my F4, spaded it and everything, but the TEAMS. MY GOD. Why do I always get stuck on teams that melt within 5 minutes? Even if I contribute and get a few kills, doesn't matter if we lose and I don't make enough silver. So many morons trying to turn fight and not playing to their planes' strengths.

spit, whenever i do the tactic of rushing i always get chased by 5 f5's and f40's faster and as maneuverable as my stock cl13b and team takes 10 minutes to come cuz they dont have speed since they climbed like a prop.

Sometimes you just have to accept the defeat, you can't always win or expect the game to favour the last player on the team running around trying not to get killed by the winning team
What if after a certain amount of time or some "order" you can summon some friendly bots to distract or even take down the bastards chasing you. Gaijin might have to update the bots for this because they are kinda clunky atm.
The A32A is basically an unfinished test model. It has a radar but it doesn't have any way of using it. The "anti ship" missiles barely even do damage to tanks let alone ships. Plus they fire in such a weird way you can't hit something that isn't 20 feet away and by that time you can't pull up so you crash and die. And the cockpit isn't finished. So suffice to say.. I chose the wrong fighter line to go down first...

spit, been using the j29D and im noticing more and more that ADENS are my worst weapon to use. how my shots are going clean through aircraft and not killing them, yet when I "miss" they just explode into a million pieces? its even harder with the jewtour because rudder stiffness/ recorrection is making getting the guns on target too difficult. i can go play the F2 sabre and get an ace game easy. idk why but ADENS seem to not be correct to what the tracer displays. id rather use Mk108s then ADENS
SteelxWolf Use the force, SteelxWolf. You shoot adens and you forget about them. That’s why they’re good because you shoot them in bursts. Even if you think you’ll miss, you will hit.

I feel the higher tiers should have SAM batteries for altitudes above say 3500 ft. And have the normal AA for anything under it. Have people in jets have to dodge 6-8 missiles just to get near the base.... and then 30 ish second reload time

Literally my favorite thing to do is to loiter above an airfield waiting for planes to RTB so I can pounce.
Airfield AA is a non-threat this patch. It's like one of their employees during their one yearly match encountered an airfield cheeser in 1.93 and put the change in for the patch.
Things like that actually happe btw. Assault fuse was initially introduced to make bombing harder after one of the lead devs died to a suicide bomber in arcade tanks
The Rb24s DID get buffed to 10G as of this morning, also with that missile buff the lead computer of teh radar on the J32B has been removed.
And I totally agree with you, the J32 is absolutely not functional if you have a shitty team, theres no way you will ever killa good Sabre or G91 pilot.
Would love to J32 squad one day, with competent players this thign could demolish people.
That Vautour 2A could've cleaned up on your 6 if he helped you, you could out vertical any and all of them and the vautour has enough power to get a shot on them...but the average Vautour player still thinks its a bomber and flies it like one, even though its probably the best french 9.0 fighter (lol).

@@mockingbird0901 Yeah I noticed it in my first flight in it this morning, only trackign radar but no lead indicator anymore. Doesnt really matter though, I only fire those guns at like 400-600m anyways, dont really need the radar indicator there, though I'll admit it was really nice to have.
you could try communicating however this isn’t the absolute solution but it could help your team was pretty small brain
unlike all the bugs and content in war thunder teammates can’t be fixed as easily if fixed at all theres only little things like I mentioned above

Yeah etendard is 9.3, and this thing is just a better etendard. Keeping it at 9.0 isnt really justifyable though, when you consider f86 f40 and cl 13a are 9.3s. This thing is easily one of the best planes under 9.7, on par with cl 13b and shenyang f5.

Why hating on the bomber that's bombing, isn't that what bombers are supposed to do?
Also about team work. If someone does anything that helps you. Thank them. Thank the guy that nabs the baddy off your 6 or gets you out of any other sticky situation. If a guy baits for you thank them.
If a guy is kill-stealing express that hey that isn’t cool. If they are spinning, burning, or have been called dead by someone ignore them.
If they stop burning. Well make sure they die. Is there such a thing as going for assists with the planes with 50cals where you just tap a couple bullets into someone sure. But don’t abuse someone else’s hard work.
I have had games where twice a friendly player rammed into a enemy who was on fire or so messed up they couldn’t fly. When you ram and enemy no one gets kill credit. No one gets a assist. All my work gone with absolutely no profit.

I don't get why you hate us bomber pilots so much. Nobody wants to die, especially our vulnerable selves, so we take every action to not get killed. We fly at high altitude to delay interception and evade dogfights to remain unnoticed. We are too big and heavy to mix it with the fighters, our anti-fighter armament are either noneffective or nonexistent, so engaging fighters is out of our comfort zone and nothing but a death sentence. All we can do is what we do best: rush in, bomb, run away, repeat.
But you don't think that. You want the bombers to sacrifice themselves in the face of a superior enemy. To charge selflessly into the 30mm maws of starving fighters just so the rest of the team can have a slight advantage in meeting engagement. Their will, of course, be those valiant, selfless few who sacrifice their silver lions for victory, but the majority of us mere mortals who value self preservation will do everything in our power to keep our valued crew members alive at all cost.
I respect you skills in the fast-paced art of fighter combat and I respect your distaste of the slow-paced science of bomber combat. I just hope that you can return that same respect for our dangerous profession.

It's not because he's a bomber, it's that he chose to let me die like a dog at altitude instead of coming past and sweeping up a few easy kills.
The lack of teamwork by this particular pilot is appalling. I'm told that a few days later the same pilot crashed his plane on purpose and said "fuck you" in all chat.
I don't "hate" bomber pilots, I have 2 videos discussing the struggles of bombers in wt.
It's an attack on the pilot, not the class of plane and I don't know why you chose to interpret it this way.

I wasn't saying that you hated that class of aircraft. I've seen your video about the Me 264 Amerika bomber and understand that you don't like the slow gameplay that they provide. I have no qualms with this statement, as it is a play style the requires patience and lots of waiting. My issue wasn't with your opinion on bombers in general, but with your opinion about those who fly them, the drama of this particular pilot after the match is irrelevant in this particular criticism.
You have also expressed this perspective in other videos concerning fighting against bombers. You have shunned pilots for flying their bombers at high altitude, a tactic that is used to evade interception, and have shunned pilots for avoiding enemy fighters. As stated before, bombers (especially heavy bombers) are not capable of fighting fighter aircraft effectively. They are not as fast, as maneuverable, nor as heavily armed as enemy fighters. As a result, bomber pilots must to everything in their power to avoid combat with fighters. Please correct me if I am wrong, but based on previous your statements on this subject (that I don't have quotes to, please forgive me), it would be reasonable to assume that you oppose this bomber doctrine.
In previous videos, you have expressed a disdain of bomber pilots who fly at extreme high altitude. You have shown anger as you berate the actions of these pilots, claiming that these tactics serve to prolong the match and ruin the experience for the opposing team. These tactics, however, are one of the only tactics that can be used to evade enemy interception, this outcome being the one thing a bomber must achieve if he values his life on the battlefield. For many pilots, the only way to achieve victory or get the most out of a loss in a vulnerable bomber is to either wait out the ticket lose or postpone his death until the round ends. You claim that these cowardly actions are reprehensible, but, when push comes to shove, you will also participate from this disgraceful act. In this very match, you said yourself that death was inevitable as the bomber was unwilling to risk his life, the F-86 wasn't around to help, and the airfield AAA couldn't help even though it REALLY wanted to. According to your policy, a gentleman would turn his plane around and allow for the enemy to finish him off, ending the futile struggle early and satisfying the hunger of the enemy fighters. But instead of that, you decided to prolong the lost battle, justifying your actions by claiming that your high performance standard necessary for making a video pushed you to commit and continue on the fight in the hopeless pursuit of victory. If you believe that you are entitled to continue the fight past the point of reason, then what say the lowly bomber pilot who flies as high as he possibly can to survive long enough to continue the same hopeless struggle against the contemptible enemy? Is he not entitled to the same opportunity as you? If you; however, believe that no one is entitled to commit such an inconvenience against the enemy, then I implore you to consider your action to make sure you don’t get considered a hypocrite.
You have also expressed a disdain of bomber pilots who, like the one in this video, avoid enemy fighters at all cost. Beating a dying horse, most bombers are not capable of engaging enemy fighters in combat and can expect to come out victorious. As a result, bomber pilots will avoid all enemy fighters, even if they are distracted by an ally. From my perspective as a pilot who cuts his teeth in a bomber perpetually on fire, you are a god sent to that bomber pilot. By distracting three enemy fighters at once, he can have the peace of mind to safely bomb and engage ground targets without the fear of getting shot down. You even cleared the way for him to land without getting shot down (shame that he crashed on landing or gave up)! You, however, believe that he should have sacrificed more and went to fight multiple enemy fighters that, according to the War Thunder wiki (super authoritative source, I know), were all fighters that the S.O.4050 Vautour IIA should stay away from (CL-13, MiG-15bis, MiG-17). Anyone as incapable as him would have stayed away from that disadvantage situation you were in. I’m about to make an unsupported assertion, so correct me if I’m wrong, but during this video, you also failed to communicate with the Vautour IIA and ask him for help. If this assertion is correct, then that Vautour IIA had no obligation to sacrifice himself to save you and, as a result, there is no reason to complain about his being a bad teammate. If I am wrong, then disregard this argument because he would then have had the knowledge that you had a plan of action to pull out a victory, and instead, he gave up on the match and left.
This was my criticism of your opinions on War Thunder bomber pilots. My objective was to defend the actions of resident bomber pilots and, at the very least, convince you to respect the bomber pilot doctrine and the selfish actions of those who follow it. I don’t expect you to change your dislike for bombing gameplay as every man is entitled to their opinion, but I hope that you consider my poorly written words. I have been enjoying you plethora of videos concerning your experiences in War Thunder and wish that you have more successes in the future. Thank you for responding to my comment and I hope that you have a nice night!

I feel you that’s just my luck with match making and it’s never fun for me I have like 3 afk people then my whole team doesn’t respond to my call outs and they just get destroyed then it’s just me left with no one else
The J32B is a fine plane but damn is it weightless! It doesnt do anything in a game, both teams meet headon and dogfight eachother while the j32 zooms around because it cant handle any turning engagement. its immediately dead if something jumps on its tail and can only rack up the easiest kills

I had a P-51 chase me down across the map twice and when eventually went after their ME264 I turned around and blasted his ass and I felt kinda bad but not really cuz I couldn’t get my bombs off cuz of him

Hey just a small comment, you said you wished there was a J out spot on the map and there is. If you J out on the airfield and then just return to hanger I'm like 70% sure you dont have a repair cost.
The problem is i have to be vulnerable. If I just wanted to land and J and leave a J out point would've been great

I feel the lack of team work. I was playing my G91 r/3 yesterday and had 3 on my 6. This idiot swift decides he wants to chase down a Tu4 all game and instead of getting an easy 3 kills he sticks with the bomber when I’m literally a km or so right underneath him and all my teammates who were on the other side of them map and trying to come to my aid are screaming in chat for him to move but his lethargy gets me killed. In a tier like 8.7+ you would think that ppl in the game would know how to play the game especially if they’re flying a plane they needed to grind out 🤦🏾♂️

Annoys me endlessly tbh, I remember one game where Phly was on the enemy Team and one where Oddbawz was on the enemy Team. And my team decided both times to furrball on them. This neither wins the game, nor is it fun, neither for those two (or in this battle for you), not for me or my team, because let's be honest, the most fun is when you have a turnfight with one opponent and every else minds their business and pick their own enemies.

I usually go for the most dangerous enemy, and if i see someone like spitflyer, orange and the like i know they are dangerous, so i focus them as the biggest threat

I haven't seen many meteors at all recently nor have I heard anyone even mention them over the past year. Shame, I think they're great aircraft
Louis Rorison Who the phlipowataphleep uses meteors anymore. people now use Hunters with gayraams or the swifty swift.
@@troopx Fair fair, gayraams are fun and the swift is epico, but I still think that the meteors are pretty fun and also are a pretty iconic british aircraft, with engines shaped like drops of tea and guns that give the enemy a nice little tickle from behind.
Louis Rorison I mean, i sometimes when i rage quit with my F-4C, I go on and play with my meteor. I dont like playing it because of the gun but it’s fun.
I guess the germans were used to russian props catching up to their ME 262's and thought that once they get the russian vehicle in their lineup they can catch anything.

The 1 thing that I hate most useless teammates because even when I do my best my entire team would immediately die within the first 5 minutes in a match

Problem with working together in WT is there's nothing in it for you.
Bait a plane so someone else can get the kill? No xp, no lions, no assist, Nada.
Help a damaged tank to repair? nothing.
Tow a vehicle that's gotten himself stuck? nothing.
Gajin has structured the game in a way that doesn't incentivise people to work as a team.
Actually there is now: accruing "battle time" is sometimes more valuable than kills. If you have 5 mins of battle time by the end of a game, you can get the same RP that you would've gotten from 1 or 2 air kills
Does anyone else think this is the best looking Jet in game? That thing is so stream line and sleek, it looks incredible. Also, question for Spit, do you foresee modern aircraft? I mean, we already have modern MBTs. F-14 Tomcat soon or what?

Mostly those who fly US that is. The players who run Allied teams have been bad since...before ground forces started. So yes to teamwork vids,although I'll wager it'll be videos about wtd when they fold.
