- Its time for me to start my 2023 journey of sharing all the random stuff i buy! The room is getting full and i need to curb my spending to fix it, which is much harder than i would like to admit.

My lego room is currently one bookshelf I found on the side of the road, one desk I found on the side of the road, one cat tree because the agreement with my wife entails I share the room with cat, and an end table I found on the side of the road stacked with boxes and boxes of plastic bricks. I feel your pain. But spending money on shelves for bricks that could go to buying more bricks is sacrilege. haha
It really is a sacrilege and you had a good setup, for my collection, although the vast majority are minifigures (I really think I have a problem) I have it stored in my closet, a closet where I keep my shirts, over the years I bought several things, I even have a set of lego friends because that hedgehog was so adorable and it was even revolutionary, I mean, the little one is 1x1 in size.
Well, I’m getting my softest pillow and bringing out the popcorn! Looking forward to tag along on your journey!
Expectations arrived overhere. Somehow i can relate. My attic is a mess according my wife, but its organized chaos acording my chaos theorie

I am all for Transformer videos!!!! Another toy I played with back in the day. You can throw som GI Joe videos in for good measure. Just remember, if you don’t get the room up and running there is a chance your wife will consider it underutilized and might try to take it back. I got some of my bespoke bookcases from Staples. I lost some of them in my wife’s purges (think along the lines of Russia).
Don't give her any ideas 😅

I've been moving to a real house with wife this month and I too have a lego room there. Just trying to find some vintage cabinets for my legos. Glass doors are must because these suckers collect a lot of dust. At least Bionicles are dust collectors. I used to store most of my extra legos inside the sofa and a dalek. Nice to be able to upgrade finally.
Yeah i was looking at buying some from IKEA but they don't have doors to keep the dust out so im going to try and make my own. I hope the new house is going well!😄

Love your videos, subscribed and try to remember to like your videos. As a married man with a costly hobby ( mostly consisting of old cassette tape players) I can relate to your humor lol
I've been dabbling in cassette tapes myself, no idea why as i didn't really grow up with them but i remember my dad showing me his huge collection as a kid 😁

1:23, ugh I hate those hahahaha, I had to remove a ceiling of that from my sister’s house (she doesn’t even fuckin live there anymore) and it was horrible.
Can we get an update soon please RoBrick? I will be in a similar position in the next few months hopefully and I want to steal your ideas and pass them off as my own.

Jammy fucker, I’ve only got two walls of the “spare bedroom” - which - also has to host my games console (and a TV), Stratocaster, the “loft” ladder and her collection of Funko Pops and miscellaneous Lego sets.

Originally i wanted to convert our integral garage into a room...for all my lego. That didn't go down so well but i got the 3rd bedroom as a consolation prize 😅

I laugh everytime I watch one of your videos they are great. I’m trying to get my channel going but everytime I show a picture of a Lego set in a box I get a copyright claim then I delete said video. How do I get around this issue?

Hey just wanting to let you know the ceiling that is speckled appears to be artex and may contain asbestos, please get this area tested before you do work to it! It’s common to get these skimmed though instead of removing it.

@@RobrickLego Oh, absolutely, it’s one of the worst models Lego ever approved. But I didn’t know it even existed until 1999, when I first found it on the internet. And I couldn’t believe it even had it‘s own box!! What made it special to me regardless of its ugliness was that it comprised two of my absolute favorite and most cherished models ever: 6880 and 6929. So I still love it. But - I only have an original instruction, no box.
honestly, I do hope that ya do video 'updates' on how the room is going.

Its been 4 years and my lego room is no where near done. I also have Lego spilling into other rooms haha.
Oh god, its like looking into a mirror! I've still not managed to do anything with the room yet and decided buying even more lego was a good idea :)
