- Jack Hanma is one of the most popular characters in the Baki manga series. He is incredibly strong, determined, and always pushing himself to the limit. In the latest chapter of the manga, Jack has shown signs of developing a new power, which some fans have dubbed the "angel back." This power is the opposite of the demon back in many ways. Instead of granting Jack monstrous strength and ferocity, the angel back would give him a more pure and holy form of power, one that is in line with his Christian faith.

People acting like the Hanmas are demon worshipers, lol. He won't get an "angel back," but he will definitely get a new power up or maybe he has it already and hides it.
I think it's more the contrast to his family. YUJIRO has disowned jack as a Hanma so for him to manifest a back that represents the opposite force to the demon back would be interesting as Jack would find himself and escape his father's shadow that's forever hung over his life

It's always cringe white western men that grit their teeth any time Christianity or even God is brought up. You have to walk on eggshells when the topic comes up with them. They immediately turn away and look pained hearing the word "God". To lessen the blow, you have to say "karma" or "the universe". Or maybe mention some sort of foreign pantheon. Other regions of the world, I experience no controversy with this. Ironically, Asians and Russians listen the most and are perfectly fine with such storylines.

Yujiro would definitely be proud of Jack if he saw that he had awakened something that could counter the Demon Back. Yujiro would start to respect and appreciate Jack but I think Yujiro would rather show Jack directly that a demon is above an angel (in Yujiro's world it's just like that ^^)

I'm new to the Baki universe, but I would think there has to be some sort hidden meaning behind the backs since Baki and Yujiro have demon backs but are more pure/natural in training while Jack if gets anything counter to a demon, is far from pure/natural.

Did I miss a new chapter or something? I haven’t read anything about some kind of “Angel Back” or even him getting the Demon Back. He’s using his new biting martial art he created and that’s it. Unless, a chapter came out that I haven’t read or ain’t translated yet.

This is much more in line with being a Christian according to the letters of Paul, simply talking to God as you would your own father. Faith in Christ is still the way to enter that relationship, but being a Christian is about that relationship with your creator.

There is no such thing as the angel back and there never will be. Yujiros power is definitely an ancient force and can be inherited by only one son. Jack's blood was deemed impure, his mother was deemed impure. Yujiro simply raped her as punishment for her betrayal and for having earlier mocked his sexuality. Jack was an accident and result of an unwanted pregnancy. Yujiro purposely picked Baki's mother with the intent of making Baki and passing on the demon. Baki's mother possessed the blood lust to make a monster with Yujiros seed. Jack does not have Yujiros prime genetics as shown by his lack of natural power and ability. Everyone forgets Jack is strong because he takes the X-4 chemical, in addition to other steroids and growth hormones. X-4 is a super anabolic steroid which was already meta human level before it was refined and perfected. Dr. Kureha later refined and reformulated the chemical making it even more ridiculous. The idea of Jack suddenly being of Christian faith is a terrible mistake as he is a man no opposed to cheating, cannibalism, and who goal is to kill his own father. Nothing about his actions are christian. A better option would be another demon part similar to Baki's brain. Jack is by far one of my favorite characters I hope they don't destroy this manga like what Super did to BDZ....

Although Yuichiro is called the strongest human being (Only during his lifetime), Yujiro is called the Strongest Creature and is the pinnacle of human strength. Yujiro>>>>>Yuichiro
