Ohhh, I have super thick hair like his. I would suggest staying away from gels and hair mousse because they dry out hair. When I switched to using lotion based products like shae moisturizer curl enhancing smoothie and Cantu curl activator cream, it change my hair completely. Also, I mix the same argon oil conditioner with some shae moisture strengthen/restore treatment masque, and it keeps my hair super hydrated and my curls last longer.
So on thick hair only use creams?

I need something that's gonna REALLY moisturize my hair. Imma try some stuff on Instagram one called magic oil and the other derika natural ability llc?

These are the things I use to wash:
•argan oil of morocco shampoo
•argan oil of morocco conditioner
•SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil deep conditioning masque
What I use to style:
•shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie
•cantu curl activator cream
I shampoo my hair about every 5-7 days depending on how dirty it is. I do not have to wash my hair every 1-2 days. I can do this because the oil produced from my scalp takes longer to travel down my hair because it is super thick and curly. My hair needs these oils for hydration, and if I use shampoo too often or use the wrong type of shampoo, my hair will never get the oils and be dry. On wash day I use the shampoo and both conditioners.
During the week when my curls start to frizz and I need to re wet my hair to refresh my curls(which is about every 2-3 days), I get my hair wet in the shower and apply some of the argan oil conditioner to help brush it out. Then I reapply the styling products. Also, if you can let it air dry, it will cause less frizz.😊
Xyaro Montilyett ^^ the Jamaican hair masque changes the hair game. Read the directions when you use it, and use it about once a week. You’ll notice a huge difference after the first or second time using it. Haha

His brother has the same kind of hair I do. I’ve actually given up on hair products made for “natural hair” because they are not moisturizing enough. I actually use alaffia all natural body lotion with jojoba oil mixed in and my hair has never been happier.

Be careful using Devacurl yall! My hair was SUPER THICK. After using Devacurl, I had A LOT of fallout. Apparently I wasn't the only 1. Thank God I had a lot to begin with and it's growing back.
