If I see the sole thinning (2 dime thickness or less), then I get a full resole. Heel caps, of course when it’s a 2 dime thickness from the leather sole. My cobbler is a custom boot maker himself, and I’ve known him for 5+ years, so I know I can trust him.
that's a good gauge for needing a resole, ill need to remember that! haha I should hope after 5+ years you trust him, but that's great you got someone trustworthy!
