Ha! Flight Sergeant Thomas "Tango" Hare (Historic Wings) might be just starting his career as a "green" pilot, but I think we all know that his kill was the real deal, even if it is officially a "Probable". This young fellow is showing promise...
More seriously, great play-through!
Attack, attack, attack -- the job of a fighter pilot, plain and simple, is to carry the attack to the enemy, execute with surprise and absolute violence of action, and then break off to fly another day.
As for me as a pilot in this game, that's a job done. Now RTB, then park it and hitch a ride over to The White Hart pub in nearby Brasted for a beer. Then, off to pay a visit and see if any of the WAAFs are off-duty for the coming weekend.

Those lost contact fighters can reform with their own section. An ad hoc section is formed with fighters from different sections.
Also think some of the fighters attacked by the escorts should be lost contact, more than one round of combat.

Ad hoc section requires a veteran pilot.

Christoph you can always switch to Blue Squadron where we are so good we fly backwards while attacking the enemy!
@@nordicmaelstrom4714 I really would like to see that sight! Nordic and hissy flying backwards! the look on the enemy faces. that's a trick i gladly would like to learn!

Don't forget when suppressing the escort, there's a +1 drm for shooting one down, and the veteran can use his pluck privilege. For future reference.

I have always wanted to fly a Spitfire. =) looking forward to this. 1940's sounds historically correct for Thomas to be a green pilot.

It didn't make any difference but when you rolled for escort suppresion you would have a +1 dice roll modifier because you shot down 1 of the escort 110's.

Rough didn't you know Blue squadron is in fact a flying circus squadron? Flying backwards is nothing for us! How did you know I wanted to fly in Blue Squadron? I was just watching Battle of Britain the other evening in anticipation of this video. I have been looking at this one for a bit and think I may pick it up if I can find a copy. Well at least I do not have to avenge Tony and Jester!
The flak from the outbound vector marker would have hit Hissy Cat as well because he would have still been in the bomber formation area at that time (only 1 hit though).
Hi, yes missed that! Was told about it in another comment and had to adjust Part 2 because I forgot it again! 👍
Great play though. Blue 3 should have taken 2 flak hits as it should have still been in the bomber area when you revealed the outbound vector token.
