Faded Love - Elly Kelly with Brian Cosbey & Terry Kelly

Elly Kelly recorded this track while touring through Louisiana. We recorded this just north of the Mississippi River - we could see the levee out the window. We had picked up the guitar at a pawn shop in Lafayette the day before.

Exellentttttt Music. I have spent many a times looking through the pawn shops/etc. in La. It sure is an Acadiania (French Canadian) country of Cajan and some zydeco music there ,lovely distinct sounding music..BTW.you can see the satisfaction for her Love of playing Accordion in her expression. always love her playing, excellent god bless

Just discovered this lovely lady a few days ago. Love her music. Does anyone know where she was from. I know it was from here on the east coast. Was it New Brunswick or Newfoundland???
I am in NB although was in Ont. and Eng. for years. Came back to my roots when I retired in 2009.

Edward, Mom was from near Richibucto, NB. She moved to Ontario in her late teens and lived there for the rest of her life. She returned to NB to visit her large family (Arsenault), on a regular basis. We donated her chair and stomp board to the Acadian Museum, at University of Moncton. You can see those items by contacting the museum in advance.
