And the thing about the quick clears in high ranks… does Elon not realize that’s because there’s not many people with that rank and gear? Getting to the point to be able to attempt a clear like that is 99% of the climb. If these companies released versions of the games where they just gave everyone these levels and gear and everyone could attempt it, then a world ranked clear would then truly be impressive. This is also why competition is much more open in games like LoL, CS:GO or hero shooters. Because everyone plays with an “already established” character. You don't need to spend hundreds of hours building a character to enter the competition.

Honestly, cheating IS there in top games, everywhere. Every year or so we have a big scandal of an "esports player" being caught cheating. It's constant. And it's even more constant and pervasive in the real world in jobs. Basically there is some level of fraud and cheating going on in every major business, and lots of small ones too. I'm not justifying anything here--I find it disgusting and think people who do it should be punished, but you have to open your eyes and understand it IS a norm, of a sort. What's news here is not the cheating, but how Elon Musk handled it, and how much of a loser he is.

So we pay a guy to: 1: Skip early game, the part of the game that you are most likely to die in. 2: We RMT to gear up (most likely at all stages of the game). 3: Not only are we RMTing, we are buying items clearly created through exploits (that staff was 100% created using the instance reset exploit). (Elon probably completely unaware of this.) 4: Have the booster have us reach a point where a fucking monkey could pilot the account and probably not die THEN claim we are playing at the highest skill levels in the game. For this topic in Elon’s case - we have proof of him not being courteous over and over again. Not just online. On camera. In person. He strongarms himself into CEO positions of companies he had very early investments in that happened to have breakthroughs in technology R&D, goes on PR stunts to boost the company image and his own image (because his ego needs to be stroked), then puts up a facade like he came up with the technology, when in reality, he's an idiot and even the engineers at these companies know he's an idiot who doesn't know the first thing about the product's specs and how the mechanisms work.
The only time he hasn't done this in any of his companies is SpaceX. He did legitimately found SpaceX with a group of other people, but the company started out horribly to the point that it was on the brink of bankruptcy before they caught a break from NASA and the government offering them contracts they were able to fulfill. All of this is public knowledge, and no one seems to care enough to dig into it as they'd rather d*ckride Elon.

Chess is harder to fake assuming you do in person tournaments. That disqualifies Elon entirely. He will stick to more convenient fraudulent behavior like online games which is easier to fake

Probably some long letter about RMT being bad and account sharing bad and then something like Elon has paid some sort of staff status so this all goes under "development" and "its his job" so it was kinda ok, juust a test guys, and Elon can play ":)".
And he never specified which accounts are shared, so he can just say he streamed with that staff/development account and had only 3 hours playtime. Basicly just edited character.
He used vague terms "everybody else is doing it" etc, but didnt literally say "I shared percy_verance with 3 other guys". And GGG has probably no intentions to investigate and prove that account sharing happened. Even the honk kong "VPN" can be dodged with proper lawyer coming up with bullshiet.

They're "his" characters because he's paying for all the RWT costs. It's like a race horse and rich people don't jockey their own horses but I could see a dumb one thinking it'd be a good idea to ride one around on a Sunday afternoon while claiming the victories for "their" horse as their own.
