The original Shion wanted to eat the sashimi of the banquet and switched place on the tattoo day. Shion forced to live as Mion.

@rockhardretard However, they are referred to not by their birth names in the show. Nobody calls Shion 'Mion' unless they truly think she is her sister. She is dressed like her sister at this point, yes, but she is still the character everyone calls Shion.
shame he was ded in the other higurashi anime becas in that anime he was the reason for shion going insane and that girl whos ussualy churry and thinks everything is cute go insane
