Italy Trip 2024 Episode 3 Hiking through Florence

We found a hike on AllTrails “Central Florence - Pian deli Giullari - Boboli Park”. It was 8.47 miles with an elevation gain of 991 feet. We started in the city and made our way through some neighborhoods, gardens, basilica and the countryside. We came back through the city, stopped for lunch and finished the loop at our bnb. What a great day. Safe enough to walk the streets but listen for the traffic. We shared the road with vespas and electric bikes.
The food was amazing everywhere and lots of choices. Very affordable. We asked the hotel or airbnb for recommendations.
