I love your Ranger's Natural Explorer because I love choosing an ability to make my character more unique. Reminds me of Warlock and Artificer who have a list of Invications and Infusions that makes it so that you can have two Warlocks or two Artificers in a party with each one being totally different from the other.

Personally, they only have a few differences in mechanics. Both are charisma spell casters. Meta magic and expertise/bardic inspiration + tailored spell lists gave them their uniqueness. I think expertise and this enhanced casting will allow you to make some really custom flavorful specialized rangers! Who are the best at tracking, moving stealthily, hunting, handling animals, ect…. Then an entire spell list to choose from not some curated shell of a list that makes 2-3 options the best, not you get a plethora of options to make your character flavorful and unique!

I understand that Favored Foe from this and Tasha’s cauldron is trying to be more universal, But I feel they lose out on the fantasy of being a ranger. Favored Enemy really Invoked the feeling of being an expert tracker, someone who’s extremely knowledgeable on certain types of creature.

    • @emmettmay8704
      @emmettmay8704 Год назад +2

I remember GiffyGlyph did a Favoured Enemy variant that granted a bonus spell based on the chosen type of creature- undead granted Guiding Bolt, plants granted Burning Hands, giants granted Jump, etc. I always thought it was odd that Favoured Enemy didn't make you any better at fighting your chosen foe, but a bonus spell that's thematically tied to the choice seemed fun to me.

    • @Evelyn-rb1zj
      @Evelyn-rb1zj Месяц назад

I wouldn't mind a bit of a combat bonus with favoured enemy but I'd rather a knowledge feature as is than a damage boost that a) require concentrations and b) has no flavour
seriously I would much rather Favoured Foe be something that evoked that expert idea maybe it could be a non concentration boost but required the ranger to spend a certain amount of time (maybe a minute or a certain dc survival or other another appropriate ability check to do it more quickly?) analysing the creature to figure out where best to hit it or something so it would have the feel of someone watching the target to find it's vital points or the weak point in it's armour or something (so it keeps with the original pseudo Hunter's mark vibe but instead of being aided by a spell it's the ranger's training and expertise with hunting creatures) if it was like that I might actually consider taking it instead but as written I'm taking the original every time because the flavour is just better
(I feel like the time or ability check is important to keep the feature feeling distinct enough from something like sneak attack and honestly it feels like it could be added to the original favoured enemy and that is more of a passive boost that either just applies or the time/dc required for the chosen creature type could be lower)
I'm also mad that rangers don't get ritual casting because it feels like it should be a thing they can do (seriously you can't tell me it's not rangery to ritual cast spells)

The part of that ranger that I wholeheartedly believe should be part of ranger is what he called survival knacks, which are essentially survival themed invocations. This method allows the ranger to gain additional features as they level that fit the style of ranger that is being played.

I hope the OneDnD Rangers have flavor added back into their ability descriptions but otherwise I’m pleased with the features it has now.
I agree with Coach: leave their spell slots alone. Hunter’s Mark could be a number of times per day equal to Wisdom or Proficiency and I like Coach’s version that scales.
Fade Away (or whatever it’s called) can just be once per short rest I think.
I’m personally more a fan of the Tasha features over the original ones so I’m fine with those as they are.
For that lvl 20 I can’t help but think of some sort of legendary huntsman idea. Perhaps the ranger can draw on their primal connection or on ancestral knowledge to better attune themselves to their surroundings to kill their foes/prey. Perhaps things like their movement can’t be reduced, crit range increases on a marked creature, just ideas or things that enhance their base kit for a time. Anything that takes what the ranger does and cranks it to eleven.

For my captsone of Foe Slayer, the target marked by Foe Slayer 'Which is not concentration on my end' requires a Charisma saving throw or become vulnerable to all damage dealt by the ranger until the end of turn. Something akin of a ranger really knowing all weaknesses and being able to find new ones in all monsters it comes across.

Look into the optional abilities from Tasha's for the Ranger, that's where Roving, Tireless and Expertise come from. Initially I didn't like Nature's Veil from OneDND but they extended it to the END of your next turn, instead of START of your next turn. That's "greater" invisibility for TWO turns, for one 1st level spell slot. By the time you get this feature, you have access to 4th level spells and 11 spell slots total. Also, the Foe Slayer capstone is not just more damage, it's more accuracy too. Most people need Channel Divinity to get additional accuracy once, Rangers just get it once every turn (your Foe Slayer is every attack on every turn, not just once). Adding an additional 15%-25% on top of your chance to hit is pretty good. Rangers could easily get a +18 to hit at that level using this feature. I don't think you realize how strong that is compared to some other 20th level features.
My backup character is my Mad Mage campaign is a Gloomstalker using your Ranger model and I'm afraid I am going to outshine everyone in everything lol Ranger's are strong

I feel like the level 18 capstone should put the ranger at FULL LEGOLAS, maybe they can see creatures and detailed terrain up to a mile away, unless behind full cover. They get a permanent plus 5 to their Passive Perception, and/or any time they deal damage to a foe that goes over its remaining HP, the remaining damage carries over to another enemy within their attacks range. Flavor it like a 2nd arrow being immediately sent without making it a full-blown extra attack.

What I did was grab some stuff from homebrew classes to add onto those empty class spaces. Plus, Alkander's Almanac has a lot of ideas to pick and choose from if you want to add an extra skill to those empty spaces.
I know I've plugged Alkander's Almanac of All Things in your channel before, but I truly believe your viewers should give it a chance and buy it. I went back to DM'ing after almost 15 years and the almanac helped me SO much (and you can tell it's a work of love, too).
I seldom wonder if WotC just refuses to learn from past mistakes. Many of the last subclasses were either meh or just subpar -- and it sucks to have one class have like 6 subclasses and then see another with like 14 (cleriiiiics!).

As for a capstone features I tried two thing at my table, the first was a "supercharged" hunter's mark debuffing the enemy and the other was for a more magically oriented ranger, it would bring out it's "domain" (favored terrain) in a certain radius around him to gain all sorts of bonuses.

I am generally pretty happy with the One D&D ranger, overall I think it is a fair bit better than the 5e one.
However, I think there are still a few issues.
    1) There are no abilities that make the Ranger better explorer/scout/watcher/survivalist than a Rogue or Bard with expertise in perception, survival, nature and athletics.
    2) Thier damage doesn't scale much past level 5 (outside of gaining higher level spells).
    3) They step on the rogues toes.
I have suggested the following changes in the feedback survey to solve the above issues.
    A) move Thier first instance of expertise to level 2 (so it matches the Bard with 2 at level 2 and 2 at level 9). Let early access to expertise be the rogues thing. This helps solve (3).
    B) Give them a new class feature at level 1 which allowes them to be better at hunting, tracking, keeping watch, and surviving the wilderness than rogues and bards. This could give them stuff like advantage on saving throws made to avoid taking levels of exhaustion (it's always bothered me that sorcerers and artificers are less likely to become exhausted than rangers). This should help solve (1).
    C) Make Hunter's mark a class feature (Favoured Enemy), not a spell. Also make its damage scale better with level. It could scale with proficiency bonus from a d4 to a d12, or could start as a d4 at level 1, change to a d8 at 11 and finally a d12 at 18. I am happy with it consuming a spell slot as it is a much cleaner solution compared with having a bunch of abilities that can be used PB/long rest. It is kind of like the rangers version of Divine Smite this in this way.

Looking back now, it was probably a little strong, but I would really love to see your newest version of a better ranger Coach!
Edit: I should also mention my change to Hunter’s Mark. Each class has its own unique way to deal extra damage like paladin smites, action surge, sneak attack, rage, etcetera. To make hunter’s mark feel more unique, i made it affect attack rolls instead of damage rolls. To me it fits the fantasy of being a hunter who knows how to line up the perfect shot, and the improvement to accuracy is more unique to the ranger and differentiates it from other classes

I maybe misremembering but I believe Crawford said Hunters Mark doesn’t burn a spell slot . Even if it does let’s remember it’s duration is 1 hour . That’s a ton of combat and it no longer has concentration so you you have zero chance of losing it.

I like Hide In Plain Sight a lot by giving you that invisibly at the cost of not attacking with your action to sell the idea of a skilled hunter maneuvering into an advantageous position while remaining unseen. Each subclass getting a unique mini spell list is also a welcome change^^.

Hey coach, I got to play test your & pagnabros' Ranger about a year ago.
I would love an update to bridge the gaps between what you've already created and One D&D.
In my opinion, the ranger in One D&D had a lot of flavor stripped from it and relies on spells for flavor. I wished the Tasha's "alternate" features would rather have been made into "additional" for the ranger. Keeping flavor whilst also gaining mechanical benefits.
Making Hunters Mark not a spell but a concentration-less class feature wisdom modifier or proficiency bonus times per long rest seems appropriate.( Leave the precious spell slots for something like goodberry and pass without trace). I love being able to activate it when you begin tracking the creature as well as having the scaling damage die both made it feel like a ranger.
Since gameplay above 10th level is harder with 5e's current design, the OneD&D moving of earlier features further while compressing later gained features sooner is a good design choice, in my opinion, and can't wait to see how you would incorporate that into a redesign of the Ranger.

  • @KevinVideo

Your ranger fix videos from a couple of years is still my favourite video from you. I feel that your version is the definitely version everyone should use. I love that you're looking to fix the ranger again, but I don't want it to be a One D&D fix. Absolutely take elements from that, but I'd definitely prefer the build to be standard 5e. We're still not sure how One D&D is going to look in its final iteration.
I also feel the One D&D ranger is lackluster, even if I like the fact it now gets Expertise in a skill. The main issue I have is that it doesn't get any actual abilities, and everything is focused on one ability per level. Why? It's not broken to have two or three. I do appreciate that the ranger's (and paladin's) spellcasting is now the same as the artificer's.
Ranger has been my favourite class since I was a kid watching the D&D cartoon, but the 5e version makes me cry. I was hopeful when the Revised Ranger UA came out, but then they (mostly Crawford) came out and said that the PHB version is perfectly fine and didn't need to be change. Fast forward to Tasha's release, and you see how much they ended up walking that back.
Regarding the Revised Ranger (which I'm sure you have seen), I liked the changes to Natural Explorer, you could now Dash as a bonus action like a rogue, and Foe Slayer let you add your Wis-mod to the attack AND damage of an attack once per turn.
Looking over the pdf, if I had to fix yours, Natural Explorer, Hide in Plain Sight, and Foe Slayer would get the Revised Ranger treatment. Spellcasting as an artificer. Add Tasha's Deft Explorer: Canny at 1st level and Primal Awareness bonus spells at 3rd as Wilderness Guide would be gone. Vanish would move to 9th level and revise it to add in Tasha's Nature's Veil. The Revised Ranger's Fleet of Foot and Tasha's Deft Explorer: Roving would go to 6th level. Feral Senses was originally 18th for both yours and the PHB, but One D&D moved it to 15th. For yours, I'd put at 13th level. Move the 10th level Natural Explorer improvement to 9th level, then add Tasha's Deft Explorer: Tireless to 10th level. At 18th level throw in another Natural Explorer improvement. That would leave level 17 open and there's no Expertise added in anywhere, but it's not that big of a deal, and one dead level is better than three.
Also, once upon a time ago, rangers used to get evasion, like a rogue and monk, and multiple fighting styles like a Champion fighter. What I love about Pathfinder 1e's ranger's capstone is tracking at full speed, and once per day against each of their favored enemies, the ranger's attacks act as a lesser version of an arrow of slaying.

I love the rework! The only nitpick thing that’s not a big deal to change would be removing the snippets that say your acclimated to extreme cold/hot weather from Dessert and tundra since the resistances already do that as a default. As for the mountain, I would simply say you can travel at a normal speed on altitudes below 20,000ft or above 10,000ft, depending on what kind of campaign your running, so that the players don’t need to look at the dungeon Master’s guide to see a feature that’s for a player. If this makes sense, otherwise keep up the good work I really appreciate it.

I agree that Hunter's Mark should be a feature, though I've heard some people call out possible issues of the ranger becoming a one-level dip class, just for that feature, which I can kind of see. I was excited to see the updated features, so I didn't really think about the level they were obtained. But moving features around for the final draft is less of an issue. I'm just glad the features themselves are better overall.
I agree with leaving half-caster slots alone. I have a similar issue with some artificer features (really hope they give a pdf near the end of the playtest phase that goes over artificers in the new system). Hopefully they don't keep the detail about only preparing a certain number of spells per level. If I don't want the spells from level 4, I should be able to take extra spells from 3 and upcast.

Hey, I have a new hunters mark option I made for my own homebrew ranger. Bonus action to activate on a target you can see within 90 feet or mark by studying tracks for 1 min. Deal d4 damage each weapon attack against the target, and advantage on perception and survival checks to track the target. Switch targets if original target drops to 0. Scales up to d12 later on. Ends if you’re incapacitated, drop to 0 hp, or if y ok cast Hunters Mark spell. Also if you are concentrating on hunters mark spell and activate this feature, you lose concentration.
Moreover this feature counts as a spell for dispel magic, and it’s level is equal to half your ranger level, rounded up, to a max of 9th level. A creature under the effects of detect magic can see it if they succeed a perception or investigation check against your spell save dc.
Can use once per short rest, and if you have no more uses, you can expend a spell slot to use it again. You gain one additional use at 9th and 17th level.
Notice there’s no time limit on the mark. It just lasts. I got the idea from Matt Mercer’s brand of castigation. It’s limited uses per short rest, but you can keep using it with spell slots, and you always have the mark up unless something happens to end it early

I still feel like favored enemy could be improved. I don't like fixes that allows you to easily get the feature to apply to all enemies like Tasha's favored foe. I liked the RP aspect of studying to the point of expertise for that 1 specific enemy. So perhaps let the favored enemy be earned through RP.
Rangers can choose 1 type of favored enemy. This is the one permanent type you have. Rangers can temporarily gain the favored enemy on any enemy for a week in one of four ways.
    1) Study signs of the enemy for 1 minute (e.g. tracks, droppings, etc.).
    2) Gain second hand knowledge (talking to locals, read a book).
    3) Use a bonus action in combat to study an enemy. Maybe also a nature check.
    4) Observe the enemy out of combat for 1 minute.

I feel like your ranger collab is by far my favorite that I've seen. What I'd like to see added would be adjustments to the ranger spells to make them more favorable/useable for players. Spells like ensnaring strike allow the use of the bow which I think is thematic but most players seem to always take other spells. I know Treantmonk has a list of fixes for spells but I'd love to see your take. For me the arcane archer's ability to imbue a bow with "spells" is really what the theme of the ranger is missing. Something like a grasping arrow feature for rangers would make them much, much more fun IMO. Love your content!

I think both DC's and OneD&D are vast improvements to the original Ranger, but can still further be improved. With OneD&D Experts are supposed to "barrow" abilities from other classes. Like how the Bard has magical secrets. Here is my idea for a Hunter's Mark fix.
    Favored Foe (1st level)
    - you always have the Hunter's Mark spell prepared
    - it doesn't require Concentration for you
    - Hunter's Mark damage increases at certain levels, d8 at 11th level, and d10 at 18th level.
    - you can cast Hunter's Mark at 1st level Once per Long Rest without expending a spell slot. You gain additonal uses at 6th level and 18th level.
    Tireless (11th level) (OneD&D)
    - ADD: you regain all expended uses of Favored Foe after a short or long rest.
    Foe Slayer (18th level)
    - You critical hit when you roll a 19-20 on the d20 for attack roll aginst a creature under you Hunter's Mark spell
    - When you critical hit a creature roll an additional d10 and add it to the total damage.
Overall I think Hunter's Mark for the Ranger should scale throughout leveling. Not just damage, but some features too.

Ranger has always been my favorite character since 1E. A Ranger should be someone to inspire awe in allies and fear in foes. A Capstone should reflect this in an ultimate way. I think of Aragorn at the end of Fellowship. The ultimate Foe Slayer would be once per turn, when you make a melee attack against an enemy who is less than max HP, it is an auto-crit and you can also attack every enemy you can reach with your movement for an auto-hit. If it is a ranged attack the additional foes must be within 15' of the first attack.

I think one dnd is close. I don't think using spell slots for hunter's mark is a bad thing. Paladin's use it for their smites. I do think it should be a class feature, I do think it needs to start out weaker and scale stronger. I do think their "cap stone" is somehow WORSE than their original capstone. But I have no issue with hunter's mark and nature's veil using spell slots. If anyhthing I have more issues with nature's veil using slots than I do with hunter's mark using slots.
My biggest issue is a 1 level dip gives you expertise, and no-concentration hunters mark for any class you want. 1 level dip then go fighter.

For me personally, capstone abilities are really hard to come up with. Though, I suppose the same is true of the creators of D&D, as there are only like 2 good capstone abilities in the game. But my thought would be something two fold, where one part would be about travel/exploration, and the other would be combat.
Maybe the travel/exploration would be something like the ability to put together natural remedies and create basically a healers kit with the healer's feat built in. Maybe you would roll a d12 to see the number of charges you get, each charge can be used as an action to heal a target for 1d6+WIS+Prof. You would put this "kit" together by spending a day (8 hours) out in the wilderness, max once per day. The remedies go bad after 24 hours.
The other part would be combat oriented. Possibly it could be something like, if you spend an hour either tracking a creature, or studying it in some way, the creature becomes vulnerable to all damage the ranger does, or if the creature has immunities/resistances, they takes one step toward vulnerable (immune becomes resisted, resisted becomes normal, normal becomes vulnerable.). The Ranger can also activate this effect in the moment as a bonus action, by making a contested WIS (survival) vs the target's CHA (deception).

I personally love the “pick a type of enemy, you are a god at killing that enemy”
Now maybe not everyone is a fan of that, the weakness of that style, is you rely on your dm to make those monsters appear a lot.
But it’s also it’s biggest strength, who doesn’t love “goblin slayer” the anime, you tell him you got a mission, he says “are there goblins” if they reply no, his answer is, sorry can’t help.
And to an extent if you play that hunter of a particular foe, it can be a little bit on the player to prompt the dm to include some of those enemies, otherwise, why are you asking the mage slayer to come if there are no enemy casters.
My original solve was rangers have expertise on attack rolls and expertise (double proficiency) added to damage rolls against their favoured enemy.
Now you say you don’t like that, and maybe many don’t like that master of a foe style.
So my solution is if that’s the case, make a “Slayer” sub class.
Using my old fix for ranger as the sun classes features.
Level 3: Favoured Enemy-you get expertise on attack rolls and any d20 skill check relating to your favoured enemy.
Level 6: Improved Favoured Enemy- you add proficiency to damage rolls against your favoured enemy.
Your favoured enemy may never benefit from advantage against you.
Finally, initiative checks you make, when at least 1 enemy in the ensuing combat is a member of your favoured enemy may add your proficiency bonus to the roll.
Level 10: You can run, but you can’t hide-
The Slayer now has a selected blind sense and blind sight to a radius of 100ft against a favoured enemy. He also gets +20 to any tracking attempts when tracking his favoured enemy. And your favoured enemy always has disadvantage on attacks against you.
Level 14: Genocider- when you roll a Nat 20 to hit, you kill your target if it is your favoured enemy.
You also gain expertise on damage rolls, adding twice your proficiency bonus.

I think your rangers natural explorer should be starting feature of Ranger, i really like it. Ranger should be about movement.
I also think the improved hunters mark is fine if it were on the hunter subclass not the base class. Or maybe the ranger can pick any one ranger spell/cantrip and get an improved version - doesn't consume spell slots or use concentration.

Another negative for the Tireless feature is .... why 1D8 which is nothing at that level, as opposed to using their HD+Con mod with at least PB number of uses. The other big negative besides the ones you have pointed out is with the Sub-Class Hunter features aquired on leveling. I loved that you got to choose 1 out of 3 choices as you reached those levels. I would like to see less "rail roading" class advancements and give players a bit of choice. Sure, it looks like we have more customization with the new feat choices, but more choices from within your choosen class would be a good thing. Even if these were only 2 options to choose from at certain levels. I could be asking a lot but as a long time player having characters feel like a much different PC mechanically as they advance.

You know for me, ranger always made me think of all types of hunters. From normal hunters, to Capcom’s Monster Hunter with their use of monster parts they carved, Witcher, Grimhallow’s monster hunter class and the lizard folks artisans ability. The kind of hunters who know how to survive out in the wilderness, make what the need from the wilderness, can’t get lost normally. adept at traversing all terrain, weather swim, climb and can’t be sneaked onto so easily. So here’s a thought: a hunter who can hunt all monsters and makes items from their flesh(think Heliana’s guide to monster hunter hunting plus monster hunter). After a rest in their environment (benefits vary depending of length) can track better, knows what around them. Better with animals then most(think The chronicles of Riddick where Riddick says “it’s an animal thing” as he befriends a extraterrestrial cat). Can move through all terrain gaining swimming, climbing, better at stealth and gains tremor sense, blind sense, dark vision but can see in color and true seeing. Note most of these require rest and to be in the wilderness(unless subclass dictates). Also I always saw the spell casting(like the artificer) as a subclass thing but that’s just me

I solved the "1 level dip" issue by delaying the Hunter's Mark class feature until 2nd level so that the Ranger's core feature comes online at the same time as the Paladin's Divine Smite.
To fill the void, I created two new abilities. The first is Seasoned Explorer, a hybrid of TCoE Deft Explorer + a revised version of the UA Revised Ranger (2015) as the 1st level exploration feature.
I then created a new feature known as Adaptive Hunter, which combined the combat/tracking benefits from the UA Revised Ranger (2015) (advantage on initiative rolls + advantage on attack rolls against creatures who have not yet acted during the first round of combat and knowing the number, size, and how long they passed, of creatures you're tracking) with the benefits from the PHB favored enemy (advantage on tracking + recalling information) as the 1st level combat/tracking feature.

Favored Enemy also was always nice, it just needed a little more oomph (auto know weaknesses or something of your favored enemys)

I’ve play tested the Ranger class…. The class is an improvement but I still like Tasha’s. The flavor is a martial rogue, the expert classes are roguish in nature by the looks of them, personally I have no issue with this… not all rogues are thieves.
Adding cantrips is nice, but limiting them from having access to the full primal list is an issue to me. Some of my favorite spells that are currently in the ranger list might be unavailable to them because they are evocation spells.
I barely ever used hunters mark it doesn’t scale damage and with the expert feat in survival with a high wisdom it is not necessary to track a target. My go to is hail of thorns, it scales with the spell slot you use, is a much better spell.
The hunter sub class, to me, missed the mark. It could have baked in the use of hunters mark in the features but it didn’t. I made mention of it in the survey.
I could go on and on about the ranger class, I even played the nerfed 5e version and turned it into a mean class by working the issues in my favor.

I think I kinda hate this Ranger "fix".
    • Hunter's mark as their dexterity-based single-target ongoing focus makes it like wimpy but consistent Rogue
    • Expertise is nice but again makes it kinda just Rogue
    • They lost major flavor and just feel pretty bad.
    • This really feels like a fan-made homebrew class where they mostly just mash together existing Classes, probably because the Ranger was an poorly defined class to start with
    • The listed Subclass is pretty boring and gives the implication that D&D is extremely mostly about combat.
If I could have a single change to Ranger, I'd just remove it as a Class and provide a Hunter/Seeker approach to Rogues as an alternate way to pull off Exploit Damage.
Okay but if I was forced to make a Ranger Class without just making it feel like 3E, 5E, or PF2E, I'd let them burn Spell Slots for Focus Strikes, acting as Primal Smites. Maybe you get just one or two and learn more over time, and this can give Area of Effect attacks like a Flurry of Blades or rain of arrows, or a Snipe shot with Advantage and ×5 Range, or pin or trap a foe, or as a Reaction Snare an approaching foe, etc. Maybe as a catch, you can spend your Movement and a Bonus Action to "Focus", letting you pull this off without spending a Spell Slot. This would be their combat special feature. Might even remove the need for Fighting Styles if one of these powers is a Hunter's Mark that adds Damage or Advantage every Turn.
Then for utility, yeah I'm kinda cool with the "terrain" origin bonus.
Lastly, would be fine with giving Rangers Proficiency in Initiative or allow them to treat gaps and climbing as "difficult terrain", as if it's effortless but just slower.

Overall, your ranger is cool, but something annoys me : Hunter's Mark (HM) procing only once a turn. With the One D&D Ranger, you can set up cool plays in late game for ranger to get a decent DPS : HM being concentration free, you can at lv 17, HM someone, and Swift Quiver to reach that sweet 4 atk/turn, each procing HM damage. I also feel like the dual wielding new rules makes HM a good option for dual wielder.
In my opinion, HM shouldn't be procing once per turn with a big die, but each atk, with a smaller die.
I can see HM being concentration free at level 5 (Such as Bard getting back their Bardic Inspiration from long rest, to short rest), to avoid min-max build taking a dip in ranger for free +1d6/atk.
I love the possibility to tag something with HM only by tracking it, and the custom effect from Natural Explorer is really good, even if the Underdark one feels a bit underwelming. (straight expertise in perception, or 5ft of blindsight, sounds like no match for me)
The Guerilla fighting style feels really strangely worded : If I move 5ft, and comes back to my position, I have move 10 ft. I suggest this : " If I end my turn 10(15?)ft from where I start it, I have +1 to my damage rolls, until the end of my next turn."
It forces some kind of positioning minigame, bringing momentum and strategy to the fight.
Hope this help, keep up the good work ! :)
