Found another way to cheese it: let the ai destroy the base then come back to build again after he decimated everything you had :) then quietly build up
@@killbots94 if they see you, they attack, if you stay hidden in the corner, they will leave you alone (i established a base where there is the south mummy temple)
thanks i finally beat it. here's a few things i learned 1. you should have a roc with 5 seige towers before 7 mins. and destroy both midgols stongholds before 8 mins. if you take longer than that the ai will spawn Elephants and they'll wreck your seige towers and its game over. 2. after you destroy all the enemy unit prod buildings the enemy will spawn priests so dont go for myth units just use camels. 3. make sure to destroy the seige worshop which is near the midgol stronghold. i missed it and the enemy spawned a shit ton of seige towers. 4. the enemy will try to contruct a stonghold when you are cutting the tree. destory it before its completed.
My man! This mission was giving me hella trouble. Had like 8 attempts. The one time I beat it was with cheats and that was just to progress through the story. Thanks for the strat. Those hero siege weapons were just what I needed.

Camels are very good on this map. Camels counter elephants, slingers, chariot archers, priests, siege towers... Everything but myth units and infantry. This is the reason Osiris is an essential choice because both Son of Osiris and the Desert Wind. Also Sobek is good for Petsobeks and Dark Water. If you don't do anything cheesy and just do the conventional way, this is the choice. Son(s) of Osiris, legions of Camel Riders and legions of Petsobeks.
I beat this mission just now with a strategy I came up with after researching Empowering mechanics (I wanted to know if Empowered TC's affect farms) and I learned that RA can Empower anything with Priests and Migdols and Towers get a +100% boost to attack when empowered. So I set up walls with defenses and empowered the Migdols so they were able to do some damage while I let the Camel Riders and other priests fight in front of the Migdols. I went Crocodile but never used the Roc or Laser Crocs. After I started destroying buildings on their side of the map with Camels they were easy.
The thing I hate most about this mission is how little resources you have on your side of the map. It's maddening never having enough to keep an army together.
I used this method to beat this mission on titan difficulty. I feel like there is no proper way to actually beating this mission without cheesing it after about 10+ normal attempts. Thank you for your time uploading it. What happened to me after sending the roc and siege towers was, they destroyed my primary base completely, but I managed to have enough villagers and gold to build a new town center on the far-right side where the pile of gold is and build up from there. They didn't attack me until I went back to my primary base where they were waiting.

After countless hours of trying and failing so many 1+ hour games, croc spamming, elephant spamming, nothing worked. This was the only way I was able to defeat this mission and it was soo much easier. Thanks for the guide!
lmao nice strat. Came here after I managed to beat this on my own. Boy was it tough. I just built walls and towers on all chokepoints, then played defence until I had a critical mass of petsobeks and some catapults. Love this game
i did it by the conventional way, and i lasted 90mins on that mission. i had to train 12 priests to destroy the mines, got to heroic age with the god power of the citadel and then to mythic by horus (didn't choose osiris because there's no wood in the map to get mummies). I ran out of gold two times so i had to steal the mines from the North east enemy base (the one with the temple that you destroyed first). I feel like one of the most important things that i did that got me to success was placing a lighthouse/beacon, however you call it in english and empowering it with the pharaoh, thanks to that i knew the direction that the enemy was coming so i could deffend my base easily with elephants + chariot + priests. I remember that in the original version gargarensis would summon a tornado in your base, good thing that got removed.
Multiple towers followed by elephants + Mass priests for defense and you can slowly but "non cheesy" push. Just optimize early temples for gold gain so you can build up.
Guys every egyptian mission is easy if you rush to Mythic age and get the son of Osiris power God. You focus on defending with him and a couple other troops while getting your Pharao to get more favor from the highest statue. Then, with more favour you can get a couple more sons of Osiris. You will then have an army in no time. Always protect your sons of Osiris. Also, in this particular mission at the start of game, train about 6 priests and send them with Quiron to take out at least two temples. Simple enough
My main base was destroyed but I managed to escape with 15 villagers, some gold and 2 carts and 2 - 3 rocs. I wandered around the map, gathered resources, built siege workshop/houses/temple and slowly built up required siege towers. Some couldn't be saved but I had a plenty of resources. Enemy will not chase you, so relocate, build up siege, snipe production and return. Amass some gold, some wood. Once all production buildings - maybe except their middle town center have been destroyed, return to your destroyed base and rebuild. What actually helps is to be in Age IV. You can temporarily claim any settlement and upgrade before enemy raids you. Works. Just need a patience.
Btw. if you have access to catapults, use them as mobile artillery, enemy is usually slow or even ignores you attack the buildings. Unload from rocs, fire volley and escape. Return few times.
its kind of ridiculous how difficult this mission is. im still not done but i think i will beat it this try now. after following your guide pixel perfectly i still cant do it, even at the begining most of my troops die from those mummies chasing me.
This mission is ridiculously overtuned 😭 I'm not the best RTS player, but I'm only playing on hard, not Titan, and I was able to manage the previous missions without too much difficulty although some of them were a bit of a slog. I tried this strategy but I couldn't get it to work either. Maybe I'm just not executing it as fast as you but by the time I get my Roc to the enemy Migdol Stronghold in the northeast of the map, there are already units there, and they destroy my siege towers before I can get to the northwestern TC. And putting all vills on wood/gold means I don't have enough food income to get an economy going, which means I can't replenish units I lose to raids at home. Not saying your strat isn't good, but I just can't execute it well enough to make it work. Edit: I finally beat it using a modified version of this strategy. After killing the first temple in the south, I just ignored the rest of the temples because they're a pretty minor threat compared to Gargarensis. Instead, I took my siege towers and Rocs directly to the enemy base, starting in the northwest, and was able to destroy most of his production before he built up too much of an army. That gave me some room to breathe so I could build up my economy. I also moved all of my villagers to the south and built up a farming eco there so I'd be able to create elephants and additional myth units, and so that I wouldn't lose farming time during raids, since the AI ignores that corner of the map.
I'm mad I beat this mission without thinking of sniping all the production buildings using Rocs. Took me 2 hours and 4 Sons of Osiris to beat it on my winning run.
Gonna try this. If I can get this to work, I won't be going peacefully. I may be wiping out the entire map for some vengeance. On your attach when you took out the towers with the one siege tower at the tree, wonder if could have been better if you wiped out the barracks right side?
I wish I could say this was possible on console… great guide but the limitations on controller just isn’t possible to keep up with everything… I do appreciate the help though! Gonna just have to stop my Titan run here
I don't know what the hell is going on, I destroyed all their Temples, Strongholds, Barracks and Siege Works, but they keep somehow attacking with Scarabs and Soldiers from both sides of the map wtf

Move them first to the wood patch, sell wood for gold, wait for an attack wave, then go west gold mine, block path with walls there and enemy won't attack there.
I played every mission up to 18 on Titan. After about 10 attempts I dropped the difficulty to standard just to get past it. Easily the most difficult mission in the campaign.
I did it on the 4th or 5th try and went for an greedy early Starting vills went straight to the second TC and Chiron for the mummies in front of the Temple then I use raiding cav the second they start using the def god power run away to the other temple untill they are down I established a trade route and spammed my 🐘 against theirs untill I had 3 sons of Osiris and pushed my biggest problem was pop space that's why I pushed their west TC first after that one went down I won Destroying all temples before they get raids and without losing units was the biggest problem for me once I got past the second raid I won "first" try

The secret of this missions difficultly is that Egyptians have no easy answer to mass elephants. If only we had Zeus Sarissa Hoplites or something...

You got camels to counter easily the elephants dude, a combination of spear + camels is good enough for mass elephants.

Mass elephants, priests and laser crocs. Micro priests some priests to heal elephants while others focus down myth units.
