There is also a great advantage of slow meatshield. Is that the space between meatshield will be very close. It can avoid boss from pushing too fast because it can only push very little distance forward. It apply to most of cyclone, BunBuns and Manic/crazed/lil Eraser.
Speedy meatshields can also work because the moment a unit dies, another meatshield can be immediately sent to rush to the Frontlines and take hits. But fuck that, use both and it can heavy delay anything
It’s also worth mentioning it’s easier to stack slower units for base hit stages. There’s been quite a few occasions where I’ve filled the cat limit on stages where camera is my primary form of damage prior to hitting the base
fast meatshields can get to broken frontlines quicker which is one takeaway to them but, slow meatshields can create a compact line of themselves to create a stronger shield to restrict pushing manic eraser and eraser can be utilized together to create a strong meatshield force and to be able to fulfill both these categories
You forgot to mention the best most cost effective meatsheild with an amazing combo Bondage cat. How are the new players supposed to know how to use him
you can use units like a bahamut and yukimura to cheese stages like manic flying by utilizing the knockback mechanics when an enemy is knocked back its hitbox temporarily disappears so if you can time a cat cannon and sniper (or some other method of knockback) you can use fast units to move passed the enemy (like manic flying) and destroy the base
slow meatshields are very good on deeply dreaming, where the boss has omni strike along with perma freeze, and fast meatshields can trigger the boss' freeze
Speed is also very important for certain special strategy and can be very complicated if you try to understand it. Most notably are clip-cheese and guaranteed 1F basebase destroy strategy. BUT I think if you include them in this video this video will be too long lol
Lucas IV, I'm going around asking battle cats youtubers what their favourite looking cat is. I've already got answers from Matt Shea, Tesalan Pasalan and Anwar 04, now it's your turn.
Lucas. Do you have a website where we can view all the list of fast units? It would help if we can view/filter these as in-game doesnt really have a stat guide
I often get killed because my units are just a little fast, because much of the times when i find a enemy that simply has too much attack, like catgod in the first cotc, bahamut gets killed instantly, but others like ñyandam are just too slow to get in their range attack
Anyone know of a more current list of the Fastest Cats? I was hoping there'd be such a list when I clicked this video, bc it came up in my Google search for such. The list that pops up on Reddit doesn't take into account more recent units. Thanks!
Yeah, no, of course. I'm talking about a list of, like, the top 10 or so. There's an old Reddit post that lists the fastest cats, most dps cats, most hp cats, etc., all w their stats listed. I was hoping maybe someone knew of a newer version of that. Because sometimes you need multiple fast cats or there are restrictions or whatever else.
9:20 How could you forget about the superior fast meatshield riceball cat? How can you call yourself a battle cats player while still being able to sleep at night? Smh
U don't really need treasure (only if you're on chap 1). U could try using 4 meatshields and a spammable AoE attacker (recommended: cameraman, paris, etc...)
Max speed is 75 the cats that have the speed is maglev cat, immortal Yukimura 70 speed cats that have that speed is only capsule cat 1 speed cat bruh it’s only proffser cat jobs 13 speed cats is archer cat If a enemy is knocked back like using maglev like that the hitbox can make the enemy kill the enemy if it’s in its range
Regarding fast units... Imagine if PONOS honoured Immortal Yukimura's name by buffing the underwhelming true form with the "survive" ability... That One extra hit would make a world of difference. The same could be said about A. Bahamut, and also solve the complaints about his low health for a unit with such low range.
@@sweetricecakeman8582 A. Bahamut is great. I'm just saying that the "survive" ability would begreat for him, useful without being too op, as it could be on some long range units which could stay alive for a long time after surviving.

Yes, for bun bun stages I've found using eraser is better than manic eraser
Speedy meatshields can also work because the moment a unit dies, another meatshield can be immediately sent to rush to the Frontlines and take hits.
But fuck that, use both and it can heavy delay anything
an amazing example of this is cybear, you need a crowd of meatshields for them to get to the beat alive
I'm pretty sure prof. Cat jobs is an SS class Rush unit.
@Low-Tier Trash Nah, Prof. Cat jobs is faster.
@Low-Tier Trash Get Jamiera cat lol
@Low-Tier Trash Well then you should prolly be fine lol
@Low-Tier Trash Then go get octo lol
@Low-Tier Trash if you have abaha the stage is literally a joke if not use tanky stuff and gry stacking dragons
“Only fast meatshields are manic Mohawk and manic eraser”
*Riceball would like to have a word with you*
Talented Jiangshi as well
Rocc too
Glass tho
Slime cat in particullar(450 for a attacker meatshield? Gut.)
There is also the fact that since Subterra Sentinels is slow he will more likely to hit zombies the unborrow behind him.
i dont know if i'd ever use this, but thank you.
0:26 when the enemy knockback proc ain't working
Now the speed of meatshields is very important. Nice one
So much for speed, this video is over 14 minutes
Thanks Lucas for using clips from old videos
Why so agressive dude
I’m tired of this guy making quality content and not getting popular. He deserves at least 30k subs.
maglev: i am speed
prof. Cat jobs has left the chat
I love these videos Lucas, is great to learn about deeper concepts in the game.
Good work, I really appreciate the effort.
It’s also worth mentioning it’s easier to stack slower units for base hit stages. There’s been quite a few occasions where I’ve filled the cat limit on stages where camera is my primary form of damage prior to hitting the base

I'm sorry for pointing this out but in the thumbnail immortal yukimora is dabbing
Am I the only person who uses the difference in speed to lure on an elder secret?
Bahamut cat: I M FAST AS FUCK BOII
bahamut cat 2 knock backs later: I am dead
did no one realize that at the yukimura was dabing in the thumbnail
at first I thought that yuki arm was broken or glitcht

the balrog f40 was brutal jesus fucking christ
It’s been 95 years, I think cosmo is almost done charging up
Just felt like sharing : just cried listening to Minecraft ost and watching old stampy videos. Thanks for reading
Mighty crystal much I think has the slowest speed because by the time it reaches cat God in moon stages in eoc it will have recharged
what do you mean you recorded footage for floor 40 and have no cheese lineup
Speed is very important for yukimura because if he would be slow he would only hit the first unit
And when he is fast he can hit the most black units
I now understood what you mean by loli in jar
7:00 i'm confused. Are the duplicate mohawk and eraser the mini varients? Or is there something i'm missing here?
Yes
They are the true forms of the lil cats
12:35 anyone else notice his error? no hate, loved the video!
I want Balrog so bad
Imagine bullet train as a delivery worker
Huh, interesting, i guess i should stop clogging up my cat limit like how you said.
Guy The Person the 13th Dart i found I guess Dart is more popular in RUclips then in the game
LOL.
Speed can also make certain enemies destroy entire defenses after the boss knock back. Like the black boar or assassin bear.

What about fast units clipping into KBed enemies and dying, or using it to cheese?
You really need fast movement attackers to let bahamut safe on the gross crazed or maniac
Slower speed on tanks can be better for stalling like dark garu in no return flights.
U missed Sodom he's slower then dioramas XD
1:44 a wild chillhola
finally we have talented jiangshi to somewhat help out the manic meathshields with his speed talent. too bad he still sucks lol
