@David Boi239 congrats just got one myself, came from a one plus 7 pro which I still have and use as backup media phone but this Note 20 ultra is amazing. Never going back to another phone as long as this style can remain consistent.

I get mine in the mail tomorrow (finally 🙌🏽) and haven’t had a Note since the 8, been using iPhones including my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Thanks Saki for putting this out so I can get caught back up to the Note life really quickly 👍🏽
srbell67 nope because I won’t be getting rid of my iPhone. I’m one of those weird two phone guys. iMessage and FaceTime are important to keep for family, close friends etc. I’m also deeply involved in the Apple Ecosystem (iPhone Pro Max, iPad Pro 10.5 with the Apple Pencil, Apple Watch, MacBook Pro, AirPods Pro, spare 2020 iPhone SE Product Red). However the Note 20 Ultra will be used for my business line (I own a real estate company and also do consultant work, and about to finally launch my own RUclips channel 💪🏽). For me the productivity, camera and specific Samsung and S-Pen features from the Note will be clutch for my business.
@@kenny_closes Sounds like you really know what you want! Once you're deep in the Apple ecosystem you're kind of trapped. Just one of the reasons I don't like Apple. With Android at least you're not stuck with one company since you could get a Pixel 4a, a Samsung tablet and earbuds from a third company, if you wanted, just as an example. But if you really like the iOS way of doing things then it's good to have it where everything is connected. I just got my Note 20 Ultra yesterday. Now I'm dealing with trying to get my apps installed and set up among other things. It's a big job! It's a beautiful phone but damn it's huge! I wish it was a few tenths of an inch smaller. I'm coming from a Note 9. Hope you enjoy your new phone. I think I'd go nuts switching between iOS and the Note 20 all the time but if that's what you want, enjoy!!
You can change your screen to have way more than 5x6.. enable developer option, go into the developer options and change the DPI to whatever you want. I like 550dpi on the note 9 which is my current phone. But when my Note 20 ultra gets here on Wednesday ill be changing it to probably 600. This makes everything on the screen WAY smaller, icons, text, notification bar, everything. meaning you have WAY more room on the grid.. and you can therefore make it whatever you want.. 10x10, 20x10, 50x50.. whatever you want. I think everything being super small makes everything look way better. Just like on my pc i have the scaling set to the smallest possible (100%) because the more room you have the better it looks and the more space you have for everything. Especially on these massively amazing screens, you dont need huge icons and text for them to look good. You can have the best of both worlds. Tons of screen real estate AND clear good looking icons and text, etc.
Great rundown Saki. You can also put the Device Care icon/app on your home screen. [Settings > Device Care > tap the three dots (upper right-hand of the screen) > tap Show icon on Apps screen]. Cheers ✌🏾
My Note 20 ultra has some different ( or is missing ) options that you are explaining. For example, no Edge lighting!! Searched,. etc, There were some other small differences, but I can't remember which as they didnt matter to me. I would have enjoyed the edge panel lighting feature! Just got my Note via Amazon a few days ago. Your thoughts on this?
Sheila, the edge panel lighting is in a different place than where it is on his phone. Why I don’t know. You can find them under notifications, then brief pop-up settings. I love the dye lighting. Hope this helps.

I just got off the phone with Samsung Support. They said that the most current software updates don't include this feature any longer. They could not explain to me why. Although you didn't cover it in this video (probably because it's so basic), another feature that isn't supported is the ability to add your own notification sounds in the phone like you can add your own ringtone. Heck, my free Obama phone let me add my own sounds, but not my $1300 Flagship! Go figure. A minor inconvenience? Maybe. Yeah, I was pressing very lightly. This does not happen when I am taking notes seriously.
