You’ve convinced me to buy the Tymo. Kept seeing it used on less coarse hair and my daughter has thick hair. She loves to roll around on the floor( she’s 7) without a bonnet and does not care about crap getting stuck in her hair until wash day comes and she’s hollering. Hopefully the Tymo will make doing her hair a better process.
I hope it works out for her. As for myself, unless it is within the first few short weeks of ms having relaxed my hair, it won't work at all on me. But everyone is different, so I encourage you to try. I rather be able to use a modern hot comb over a flat iron. My first try with Tymo was I was prolly 2 years post relaxed. I may see if I can do a tweak to make it work better, like blow drying instead of air drying my hair. But due to my bad dominant shoulder, I will need to use a bonnet dryer with rollers. I tried wrapping my hair, for most part, not happening. Edit: I wish Red by Kiss modern hot comb was still out, the Gold Series one that came out before the one that is out now. I was able to use that no problem.
