I'm so happy for you that you got a positive response from your committee member and you're feeling better about the direction you are going. Validation of your efforts can really make a big difference especially when you've been working towards a goal for such a long time. You sound like you are so cozy with your new setup.
Awwww Laurennnnnn!!!!! 🥲🥲🥲 meeting you and talking to you about everything and anything planners and life was also such a HUGEEEE highlight of my weeeekkk!! 🥰🤍
Im so happy for you that school is going well. As always, I saved your video as a little treat-I always love what you share! I’m in a common planner too and didn’t even realize about the little dots!!!
Hi Lauren, I’m loving this video! Way to go with your PhD candidate. I obtained my BSW at UVic and knowing people who continue on in academia AND presenting at conferences you blow me say!! I have a question which will be minor for you but I had a “minor” stroke a few years ago…. Can you please tell me how you make mood/vision boards these groups of photos and then you put them in your planner please? I love the way they look and how you can express your creativity that way. Also, I’m going to follow your IG! Thank you so much! kari in Victoria, BC ☮️
You absolutely influenced me to go to a freely noted+ (in a5!) and it’s absolutely been the best decision i made!! I was in the cousin and hated that i was so far ahead with my journaling compared to the actual day. (I was writing in march while in february because of how much i journal!) I did want to get a sterling ink but I can’t give up the black cover of the freely noted ! (Plus i love the 4 mm grids and just all of it lol )
I'm also terrible at keeping up with multiple books. I love to track my reading though, so now I keep book shelf stickers in my planner, and note the books in each month so I can see the books on a yearly level, and on a monthly level.
thats so smart!!! i would love to find a more cohesive way to include reading stats in my planner. right now they're just kind of scattered anywhere and everywhere 😂
i just found your videos and i need to tell you how much i relate to the pressure of mental illness, and also the way a long project can take over your sense of scope, til you need someone else's opinion to tell you that it's still good. i had a similar turning point recently and it was SUCH a relief ... thank you for the videos, so so much, and your thesis project sounds fascinating. (seriously! i studied sociology and the ways od culture is still my first love.)
A new Lauren video dropped! Always love hearing about your system
I’m really glad I’m not the only one who copies things over for consistency 😅

YAYYYY so happy to hear you are a fellow freelynoted lover!! i have to agree with you they are just PERFECT 😍

A5 is where it’s at and I seriously miss having the months, weeks, dailies, all together in their own sections.😢
Of course I want you to use the planner that works for you, but I’m happy to see you in a5 again!
A5 for the win!!!
Yay you’re back!
and then i disappeared again 😂
I also cannot have plans in two separate places. Things MUST be in one book.
What do you use for your photos?
for the black and white photos i print them on a thermal printer from poooliprint!
