Thank you sir, I am encouraged by your experience and enthusiasm. I plan on licensing my latest invention. My last two US Patents were very expensive and time consuming and did not find an investor. I learned so much, maybe this time will be the one!
Hi Stephen, Thanks for your helpful videos! I have a few questions and would really appreciate it if you could answer them: 1. How can I license a new substance or formula, and what’s the process for filing a provisional patent? 2. If I collaborate with other inventors on the same idea, what should I do or avoid? Is there a platform for this? 3. Can someone license a trade secret, and how does that work?
@@dukefleed8369 these are all great questions. 1. Yes, you can protect a formulation. To learn more I would go to ipwatchdog.com it’s one of the best resources on the Internet for inventors pertaining to intellectual property. 2. If you’re going to work with other inventors, I would highly recommend having some type of contract. And if they are a co-inventor, their name will have to be on the application when you file for a patent or provisional patent application. 3. And yes, you can license a trade secret.
Hello Steven! Please tell me what I should do? The company is interested in my product but asks to get a patent and then negotiate. Because they are afraid that I can get a patent and take it to their competitors. Tell me what guarantee is there on my part to protect them? I will be very grateful if you find the time and answer me. Thank you for your work!

I know you guys do not partner with independent inventors, but what if that invention has much potential? Perhaps it makes you change your mind?
I never say never.
But for me personally, it needs to be in the packaging industry.
@@inventRight I would like to have 3 minutes to show it to you, and then you decide.
