  • This was one of the sickest hands in Poker At The Lodge history. @AndrewNeeme had Pocket Aces, @DougPolkPoker had Pocket Kings, and Alex had Pocket Queens. Watch to see how it went down!

    The Lodge Card Club is a members-only social club in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). With 24/7 cash games and 2+ tournaments per day, The Lodge is THE place to play poker in central Texas. The Lodge Live is streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 3PM CT.
    You never know what you might see on The Lodge Live stream. You might see Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings. You may see the nut straight lose to a full house after the board pairs on the river. There's a good chance you will see loads of straddles (and double straddles, and triple straddles). Players go all-in blind or play poker hands after looking at just one card. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
    The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.

      Yes.. when he and the business partners go heads up the check down. Doug took it easy on Brad that time. Neeme took it easy on Doug the last hand.. it's basically you're playing 3 on 1 at that table.. very unfair

      @joehenry9546 Год назад +3

      Except in that situation. Andrew is NEVER 6 betting anything but Aces in that situation. If he would have shoved? Maybe Doug calls.

    • @Etc...Sports_games
      @Etc...Sports_games Год назад

      @@joehenry9546 no, the only reason he folded was he was worried about the other guy having Aces.. He wasn't worried about Neeme. He was shocked neeme had Aces..He was convinced the other guy had the aces. Doug should have called neeme.. he just did a video last week on " never fold pocket kings". That's his business partner.. he knows if neeme 6 bets he's going to shove..it would of been bad for the Lodge and business investments to have two all in losses...
      So he folds and says after he realizes it's his biz partner" I never folded pocket kings in my life."
      Why start now Doug? You can get a triple up... No fold because you thought both you were going to get stacked..
      It's cool.. live like no one sees in plain sight what you all doing.. so much easier to win when you have 2 solid friends raising and scaring people out of pots.. they always help the other business partner in multiway pots.. it's boring to watch and easy to spot. It borders the Mike postle scam

    I am not sure I have ever seen a six bet. I am no expert but you have to believe anyone facing a six bet has to know that at best, they chop. Which sucks for the six better because in this case, if they just call, they give two other players a chance to hit a set. Plus the six better knows that is pretty much exactly what they are facing in the two under pairs. Everybody knows everybody else has something big at the six bet point. Sort of feels like everyone played that as optimally as they could - won as much and lost as little as possible. Again, no expert and what I just explained may be common knowledge in the poker world.
