    If you’re thinking about having it professionally tore down. Contact the local fire department first and check to see if they would be interested in practicing putting out fires with the house. It would be a way to do some good and a fitting end the home.

    • @TheCurrykiev
      @TheCurrykiev 5 лет назад +5

      This doesn’t happen, at least in the UK. I’d be shocked if they did it in North America. I’m sure a quick google search would say the same.
      Think about it logically. You’re suggesting they burn down old houses for practise? Forgetting that people live nearby (even in this vid they showed next doors window light on) the people that stop fires wouldn’t start one with the public around.
      Anyone that’s been to a fire station with a practise building will see how much empty space is around the target.
      It’s a nice idea though. 🙂

    I do wish you would have visited with someone older and maybe a little more mature with a lot more empathy than Jussy, I really hope if you didn’t collect all the personal photos and awards that, whom ever you have to sort the estate out on your behalf that you ask them to save these things and mail them to you.... you never ever have to open that box, but I wouldn’t want you to feel regret or shame 10 years down the line from not keeping anything, you and your siblings suffered immensely, just don’t give yourself ever another reason to regret, take care lovely.

    Boogie as someone who never had a home, and came from a messed up family. you have been an inspiration to me. just because you let a house go and fall into ruin doesnt make you a failure, that house haunted you and 10 years ago you werent ready to face those demons. but look at you now. keep your head up man, just because you grew up there doesnt make it home, build the home you want, thats what im doing. I just spent every dollar i had to get a house that is in complete disarray but everyday im working to make it a home for my family, i pay my monthly payment on it and every other dollar i earn goes to it. it will be a long time till its ready, but it will be my home, something i never had. so that my kids never have to worry like i had to about where i was gonna be next. never let your past stop your progress.

      The far more harsh probability is that what had been said was true. Spiteful or stupid children coming along and trashing the place. Thieves looking for valuables, and in all humans being hateful creatures. Maybe someone just looking to survive did wind up there once, but if they did, they didn't do anything besides get out of the rain and maybe start a fire if it was fall or early spring. When I was in 5th grade we lived in a house. We have always lived in apartments or with family. We finally were able to have a home of our own. We lived in that house for two years. Until my father got really heavy into drugs (he was always addicted but in and out of the addiction) and eventually caused us to lose our home. We couldn’t pay our mortgage so my dad decided to abandoned our home and leave our city. My sisters still live in our hometown and one day after years later she drove me by our old home. I cried. It was exactly how I remembered and I so desperately wanted to go inside. She told me how she had to sneak in and grab her stuff after 1 month of us abandoning it. She was living with my grandma at the time. She said the house looked like it was stuck in time. Clock on the wall stuck at a random time, kitchen table with plates and forks setup for our last meal there. Our beds a mess from getting up early that morning. Posters that we had in our bedrooms still on the wall. The way we left has always left me with a hole in my heart. I get emotional every time I think about it. Thank You for doing this Boogie. James Edwin Cotter never complained about his shortcomings, and though he didn't nearly live through as much of his troubled Cherokee-Irish and English artist past, as you did; my dad taught me through starvation, emptiness, and the like, that you let a greater experience from the self, take-over. Your freedom ain't from the camera; it is from self-actualization.

    I wasn't really a fan of the camera man in this. His jokes weren't funny and he often seemed insensitive.

      @@Rozmic I doubt this was scripted (aside from the cameraman's bad/insensitive jokes).

      Jesse really isn't insensitive in this. Jesse has NO idea how to feel, except to help Boogie face his past life and have closure.

      @@Darkmage4 Boogie "It's my fault for doing this" Nug "Yeah...". Pretty simple social etiquette fucked there

      The best friends are ones that tell you how it is. Mcjug doesn't sugar coat a damn thing, and that's not a bad quality. I think he is the friend boogie needs right now. Don't make excuses for your friends, support them in bettering themselves.
