PLEASE READ: I'm getting a lot of comments relating to what I'd rate certain browsers that weren't covered here as I was only focusing on current major offerings. I'll certainly be covering a lot more in an upcoming video with a more extensive list. So if you enjoyed then please subscribe to get notified when that comes out :) I’d love to hear your thoughts and discuss with you all in the comments below! Great point! But actually, although it is Chromium based it uses an open source variation meaning it's openly verifiable by the community as to whether it calls home to Google, which it doesn't. Check out this doc on their github which verifies this: github.com/brave/brave-browser/wiki/Deviations-from-Chromium-(features-we-disable-or-remove) So feel free to use Brave without any worries in that regard. Just be sure to use their own search engine so Google has no opportunity to phone home :)
Vivaldi is a a decent choice if you productivity features, and privacy. Wasn't covered here as I was only focusing on current major offerings. But I'll certainly cover it in an upcoming video with a more extensive list. Subscribe to keep an eye out for that If you're curious about my how I'd rank it :)
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate your FOSS choices, however they're too niche for this video where I wanted to focus on all major browsers. I plan to do a video with a more extensive list in the future.
