It’s a film. These lines are not terribly precise. It’s assuming the forces are negative and that the individual is a good person. But frankly Patrizia had a lot of narcissistic personality disorder going on.

The irony of this appearance from Hayek is that her husband in reality is François-Henri Pinault. Pinault is founder and honorary chairman of luxury group Kering, which owns the fashion brands Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Gucci.

You have it all wrong. François-Henri Pinault ( 59 years old ) is the SON of the man François Pinault ( 85 years old) Pinault SR he founded “Kering” not his son who married the actress. Kering which started as a wood and building materials company, in 1963. Kering who then in 2005 bought a controlling stake in Gucci. All of this was under KERING that turned towards luxury brands in the 2000’s in an acquisition buy out. Hayek is married to his SON who is in charge of Kering as a CEO among many other people. He does not “run” Gucci. He merely moves paper around around as a businessman with all of the financials of the many other houses Kering also bought : Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Gucci. Hayek got the job because she is ethnic versus Anglo and could play an Italian without it becoming camp. Her connection is there but really she doesn’t need the work.

I looked up an interview with the real Patrizia and her arrogance is unbelievable. The way she talks about having Maurizio killed its like she's proud of herself and eyes are so cold and dead there's no emotion all she seems to care about is money, luxury and whatever the Gucci name can bring her. Yeah, I always wonder why Americans do it in the movies. I am Russian, and when they play Russians, they always speak English with a horrible Russian accent. WHY? It does not make any sense. Either speak Italian, or regular English, without an accent.

@@JuliaSochnikova Because they can't speak Russian or Italian, they speak English. So we have two alternatives: 1) Speak normal English with their regular accents and weird expressions and mannerisms, or 2) Try to imitate Italians/Foreigners when speaking English. I prefer 2, at least this way the expressions are not as Americanized and they pay a little mor attention to how to speak.

Who else cringed a little when the cards the star and 6 of pents didn’t add up to what she was saying? 😂 It would be more like about her purpose not necessarily about a big love. The star is too Aquarius energy for “big love” energy. It’s more like following a path that is unique to you and yes even stardom and yes conquering the world (and with 6 of pents involving money for sure) but not really about a great love. Unless there were other cards around signifying this, cards the camera didn’t show

I’m very very worried, it comes out in a few days and there’s no reviews, that’s bad sign
monochrome I work in the film industry, normally they allow critics to see films 2-3 weeks before, to build hype, if not that, at least 72 hours or so before so that way the reviews are in the newspaper the day of release, or before. If a movie is bad, they won’t do that, because they don’t want to effect box office sales, by the first thing being the movie is bad

@@MrFloccus Come one, I'm Italian too and our language is indeed very similar to Spanish. You'd be wrong if you'd think they were the same language, of course they're not, but just to think they're very similar... well, it's only the truth ;).
I think too that for a Mexican native speaker is much, much easier to fake an Italian accent. It takes some time and hard work, but it's definitely doable.
A lot of latinos can imitate an italian accent no problem.
To untrained ears like mine, Spanish and Italian accents (when they speak English, not talking about the actual languages) do sound similar. Then again, I'm not a professional phonetician
looooved the movie, but i would have loved for pinas and rodolfos characters to have more depth via more screentime. hayek and irons definetly could have shown their talent if they were given more scenes

House of Gucci is the worse case of American actors mocking Italians and they want to win an Oscar for this behavior.
Okay I can’t tell you how inaccurate this scene is. 1. Red is for strength, courage, energy, passion. 2. Green is for luck, fertility, and balance. Black is for protection. And cleansing I guess you could use white. But you’d really be better off cleansing using actual tools like incense or crystals. And she pointed to a star reversed card to say that she had a great love in her life. The star reversed card represents loss of faith, disconnection from the divine, illness, mental or physical. Someone really could’ve done like one second of research on this stuff before making this scene.
I think this scene is meant to show that Pina is a fraud and Patrizia is an easy mark for her.
In this scene Gaga looks exactly like my mother's cousin 😳, the only difference is she is blonde, not brunette.
