What a great problem to be in…you’re needed everywhere and GOD IS MOVING YOU. Go in and let the manager know what you need for the next few years while you finish the kiddos school up,

Beth: YES I notice but it might be my theater performance background.
But I think you tend to be good in this area over all. Great job.

I just found you and I really have enjoyed the videos you've shared... Very thorough and yet conversational! I have not noticed an overabundance of overused words! Praying for this transition and all that it entails!

Thank you for being so real about what your family is facing. I just lifted you up in prayer.
Also, I love that you acknowledge those bad speaking habits! I’ve never noticed you doing them. Upspeak (when you end sentences like it’s a question) drives me CRAZY. Girls and women are the ones who do it the most, and I think it automatically undermines any authority or credibility we have, because it makes us sound unsure about everything. I hope that trend is on its way out!

    As always thanks
Will be praying for you, for a job that fulfills every need for your family.
As for the umms, dont mind them too much when they are sprinkled in.. makes it more authetic other than feeling something is always rehearsed.
My April goal is to rearrange my kitchen as well ,😊

Oh my word…I will be praying for you Abbey and that the Lord provides the right job for you in your season. I’m sure the added stress of your job situation is not helping your sleep. Praying for that as well. So amazed at how much you were able to get accomplished this past month.
Looking forward to seeing your video on your life skills course you created and thank you for being willing to share it with us all. ❤
My April goals: finish design of our wood fireplace being installed, finish decorating our main level, run my 1/2 marathon and finalize the rest of our school year…oh and get the garden beds finished and soil delivered as well. We are also adding onto our garden area this year.

I will be praying the perfect job opportunity comes along for you. Also, if you are comfortable, would you mind sharing the changes to your eating you made to reduce cholesterol? I am excited about the Life Skills course.

I was on a strict keto diet for about 18 months. It was a huge change cutting out carbs/sugar and learning about healthy fats, but I felt the best I had in over 10 years. From there I did a slow transition to a maintenance diet making sure I had enough protein. I'm not doing any special diets now except for trying to eat more that we grow in our own garden or make from scratch at home.

Don't beat yourself up over the "Sos..." when you speak with us because it's just a nice conversation and doesn't have to be so formal ;) It's a good goal to watch the "uhh's, ya know's, likes" because those do bother me too.
Big prayers for you as you explore new nurse opportunities.
Oh man, not having your brain shut off is the worst! I found that getting a magnesium spray and taking DIM with some wild yam cream has really helped me get some deep sleep. Along with, no sugar or stimulants after a certain time. I have to get up super early in the morning and usually get 5-7 hours max.

You’re the sweetest Abbey. Wishing you the best with your goals ❤ This month I am setting up transition from 7th to 8th grade, choosing and testing curriculum. I’m starting Algebra I myself so that I can be fully armed 😂 Also your video about what you wished you’d known prior to starting high school was perfect for me at this stage thank you 🥰 I will be working on health goals for one of my sons and myself. Fitness wise I’m setting up a swim/hike schedule. I’m continuing to focus on good sleep this month as it’s been helping so much. I will be scheduling our electrician to replace some canned lights in our house and installing some in all the bedrooms. I think that’s it 😅 Take care and thanks for asking x

Just in case you are looking for n Algebra curriculum that is so solid you don't have to teach it, I strongly suggest Dennison Algebra! It has been fantastic for my daughter and every single problem is worked in a solutions video. You never have to worry. I absolutely love it.

@@elonas9487 I purchased this curriculum last week (for myself and to test its viability for my sons) and really like it. My sons are currently using CTCMath which includes a lot more problems to solve than Denison. Do you think Denison provides enough practice?

❤ this video. I am interested in both of those curriculums in the future. Also I can relate from the employment standpoint. Last year I accepted a job that was a promotional opportunity with a different company and they said they would respect my homeschool schedule but it's not working. I make more than 50% of our family income so I can't stop working but we are discussing our families priorities and there is a possibility I could go back to my former job. We are trying to finish out this school year and over the summer decide on next steps.

I do the ummms and soooo stuff when I'm thinking while I'm talking, which I do a lot. I try to cut them out when I can, but at the same time, I just want to be normal and more relaxed than critiquing myself that hard. LOL.

I'll be praying for you that you can find a job that is a good fit for your family! I have noticed when people say um a lot in videos, but usually it has to be pretty bad before it bothers me. I don't feel like you've been bad about it. I do think it's good to pause and think before you speak, though, like in the style of Jordan Peterson. He's a phenomenal speaker and doesn't fill space with pointless words. It's hard in the RUclips world, though, I'm sure when a video of somebody thinking constantly would seem kind of boring!

I only notice the use of “um, like and so” if it’s used a lot. There was a video I watched on RUclips where “like” was used so much that I stopped watching it. It wasn’t you. I haven’t noticed it with your videos so you must not do it too much. It sounds like a great goal to have though. Praying for you to find the right job soon. 😊

I don’t notice the uhms and soooos and the questionable statements, but I don’t see RUclips videos as public speaking. I view it from the perspective of an informal conversation, and we do lots of those things in regular conversations. I also don’t view the comment sections as a place to expect perfect and formal grammar, but more of a text message conversation between friends or those you may know.
Neither of these things are really true BUT they are just analogous to me.
And I look forward to seeing your curriculum. Sooooo excited. You are very encouraging! And I will totally keep you and your family in prayer! And I am rooting for some positive news! I know it’s stressful!

Just prayed for you and will continue to do so! ❤❤ Would you be willing to do a video on the diet changes you made for your health? I’ve got to make some changes and I’m kind of at a loss as to where to start. People always say “talk to your doctor” but most doctors don’t have to take any (or very few) nutrition courses to become doctors. I know you aren’t one but I’ve watched you long enough to know the thoroughness with which you research 😊

I just had a question sent in about that for an upcoming Q&A video too. I’ll try to make sure to include it in that one.
