Smug as a Dudley player like yourself there were one move that you didn't take advantage off esp when he cross you up, cross counter or ex cross counter , maybe you're a lil rusty from playing sf5 to much but all in all GG.
Gen is so cool, character concept wise. He is pretty much two full ass characters in one and to be effective with him you need to master stance canceling with him which can be hard as shit per combo let alone in neutral. Definitely insane on character difficulty.

Is it just me or is street fighter 4 more fluid and faster paced than street fighter 5? Even the slow characters of Sagat and Zangief seem faster than their street fighter 5 counter parts. Plus street fighter 5 removed alot of iconic moves like green hand and criminal upper! What a shame!
SFV feels sluggish by comparison. Seems like a lot of moves have slower recovery or something. And it also seems like there's more "hit stop" when you make contact.
I think the reason behind that is to help players (mainly new ones) tap in the next input as the brief pauses allow you to make inputs for those spar seconds/ micro seconds of the brief hit

@@InitialDL84 I feel the same way , while sf5 is a step forward In the visual department ,sf4 was more fun even the arcade challenge was ,wanting to fight the different bosses by not loosing a round, to me the fun factor is very important in a game its that which make you come back to the game no matter how old it gets I'm sure if u look at your collection of games u will find that there are games u haven't touch in months or years and others u always go back to, that alone speaks for itself.

No he cancelled FA into stance change which you can do if you plink it, not that easy though. Basically gives Gen a parry if you master it, you can see someone in that chat mentions it after.

Not getting SFVI until Gen is included. This being said, watching IV clips sadly reminds me of how much downhill the franchise has gone since. Oh, and btw, if I’m not mistaken, there are some character specific ouga setups this Gen did not utilize that would’ve helped him considerably.
