Dongle is too obtrusive. Why not make it L-shaped so it at least sits a little more flush and less obvious.

Or just use a usb hub like I do so you can use the back USB ports for a usb external hd and the usb headset, that’s how I got mine config b/c I have their logo and front lights for ps5 with a RGB base, so I have 3 usb RGB lights on my ps5
You can either buy a small USB extension cable and then hide the controller out of sight or install a 90 degree USB angled adaptor 🙂

Really cool idea.But the USB dongle is too big.Made an L dongle and a lot smaller.Because i think most of the people would hide the cable and dongle as much as they can.

You can plug the usb in a power adapter so you dont need to put the usb on your ps5 you also need a extension usb cable
it works on a usb plug in the wall? I literally just asked them this... lol So it should work extended to a Anker USB hub too then... Does it turn on when the console turns on or do you have to hit that switch on the cable every time?

Love the stuff you guys put out, especially for my Series X. I want to get some LEDs on my PS5 too, but these kits, no matter the brand, all have that huge dongle that sticks out the back. Not to mention that even with a 4-port hub, all my ports are used up.
Can these dongles at least have a USB passthrough? And what about those who also want the front LED strips with this logo kit? I doubt anyone wants to use two ports for these dongles. Especially if we use one of them for an external drive for PS4 games.
I'm so down for soldering points inside the PS5, if that's what it takes.

Just do what I done buy a usb adapter so you are only using one in the back I have 4 usb slots on the adapter so it’s all good
I opened up the side panel and stuck a pressure light and put a little mushy clear part to put pressure on light so it will glow
saw this on amazon, does it turn on when the console turns on or do i have to hit the button I see on the plug every single time? Also, have you tested if it works on a 3 foot usb extension plugged into a USB hub like Anker instead of the console itself?
Also I know people are saying the plug should've been more l-shaped, i don't care really, but the cable should've been at least 3 feet so we don't need extension cables to go to a wall plug or hub (like i just saw someone else say they did, to a wall plug, so i assume it'll work on a Hub like I asked). That looks like 1 foot...

This is the first video I've seen where the PS5 housing has been removed and didn't scratched the PS5.

Great concept I’d love to have but that dongle sticking out of the back is just way too much. Would love that to be hidden somehow or even able to plug in somewhere where if we’re already using that port
Also to have to press the dongle to change colour seems annoying in the long run, a remote or something would be cool!

Get a right angle USB adapter
I dont know if you have seen it but there are leds that are round that go around the fan casing. You should make one of them instead of the strips and add the ps logo leds all in one. That would be perfect.

@@ExtremeRate I'm getting ready to personalize my PS5 & was interested in both of the cosmetic lighting fixtures mentioned in this comment. Killing 2 birds with one stone would be really sweet & having them connected & controlled by the same source would also be cool. Those lights, black plates & a vertical wall-mount to sit the behemoth out of the way but still in perfect veiw to see my fancy-shmancy lights on my console. That's the plan. Any updates on this?

You can get USB 3 90° adapters off amazon, it would tidy it up 👍
Maybe a usb splitter for if you have the console LED kit, allow the logo LED to bunny hop off the same USB port?
You could get someone to solder the connections internally, I did it to mine

Sadly I just found out about extreamrate. I just ordered this and the LED light strips as well as the series X LEDs for underneath. Also got a clear atomic purple switch pro controller casing!
Use many extreamrate items but what is that? I don’t know what is worse there how it looks with cable always attached to it or -1 usb. I understand that there is no easy way to power it but such a little thing doesn’t worse that sacrifices.

@@RubeCube5785 If you illuminate the logo, you will inevitably see the cables. And that's definitely too big for that. But this is only the first version. An improved model will certainly come out. I'm also hoping for a remote control

Other Question: can you guys release some Spare Part sets for any kits you released so far? For example DTFs LED Kit Buttons in White, Black, Red... Well all aviable DTF kit Colors, or DTF kit Thumbsticks, also White or Black for Example...
The Reason i want Spare Parts is my Whit Thumbsticks for my Series Controller DTF led kit are disgusting Yellowish and i cannot find good Spare parts. Or the Possibility to Change All Buttons from White to Gold or Black... I would like to see some Spare Part sets for already Existing kits.

Make it to where you can tap into one of the fan or other connections inside the PS5, include a RF remote! That usb dongle is horrible.

The wire is way too short cant stand to look at it would never tolerate it. Make it longer so we can plug it anywhere and also make the dongle smaller by putting controls elsewhere on the wire so we can hide it
