2022: I can say, Big Dog Taked the franchise with him in his death, he was there since the first Motorstorm (You can see it in the cinematic, talking about his friend) And is a shame to look and see that, Motorstorms, ends with the last veteran from the first game and will never come back. Sad more than anything...
I like how the final drive in the campaign really shows how big the big one earthquake really is On the veteran prologue everything seems just fine but at the epilogue you can clearly see the whole damn city is sinking
Made me wonder, was the world ending due to massive natural disasters the likes of "not San Francisco" devoured by The Big One with the likes seen only in 2012 movie? Or that DuskLite did shady experiments and not San Fran fell so they intended to finish off all survivors and shutting down the Festival as a way to cover up? it's clarified on an update where they added a circuit named "The rock" that all the Motorstorm crew escaped to an island (inspired by alcatraz) after the final earthquake
But you can see how the carrier managed to get away had it not been for Big Dog's sacrifice. Then again, the PMC only had ONE chopper to chase one dude instead of sending a team to shoot down others?
@@thientuongnguyen2564 That dude had gone rogue. Dusklite weren't supposed to be looting the city and he'd been fired but he commandeered a chopper to go after Big Dog since Big Dog threw him off the carrier.
@@j.scottwigginsjr.3946 But the thing is, DuskLite manager (or one of his underlings) was already hunting Big Dog during the first morning of the Festival, suggesting they may had beef in the past but not according to cutscenes when they don't seem to recognize each other and DuskLite didn't actively shoot down other racers (at least at the Carrier). Seems to be an inconsistency when that gunship only hunts down Big Dog.
Its pretty damn badass to use the original motorstorm song.
What's the name ?
@@mudslinger1850 it's Slam by Pendulum. Awesome song 🎵

Fitting.
A homage to the Motorstormers from Monument Valley.

Coming back to this, it does look like Big Dog hits the Helicopter with the flare, which probably was gonna attack the Carrier.

Everyone above me has just watched the most epic thing ever.
It's a shame that MotorStorm has been discontinued forever.
Big dog will always be with us
