Visuals on the natural disasters still look amazing wish I could run it at a stable 60 FPS!

This is insanely chaotic, why the hell there is no studio developping another game like that, this is heartbreaking for real

I know Arctic Edge had shadows of this where vehicle honking their horns or exploding can cause avalanches in some of the tracks.
If they did a new one with 1 2 and Arctic Edge setting with apocalypse natural disasters and customisation. It would be golden!

A truly chaotic map that leaves your heart racing, adrenaline pumping, & wanting more! This game and Split/Second are the only games that have done anything like this and I wish we'd see more like it.
With RPCS3, if your rig can play this track at a stable framerate then you're good for the rest of the game.
You can get crashes at nighttime Downtown or whatever after lap 6
Wish they'd do a reboot/remaster for MotorStorm with the newest advancements in game development, these games were something else.

Playing this masterpiece right now. I played all the MS games back on ps3 and just recently got them on rpcs3. What a friggin treat man. They seriously need to remaster this series.

Hey man! I have a similar hardware as you and I have pretty poor performance in comparison to you. Could you go more in-depth on your options (and if you've done anything else, outside the rpcs3 settings, to improve performance)?

Settings I have changed whats not on that list under CPU config enable spu loop detection,
GPU config anistropic filter 16x, disable anti aliasing, output scalling FidelityFX super resolution.
For Advanced config, sleep timer accuracy as host, driver wake up delay 20. Maybe try using task manager set rcps3 to high priority might help.
i know i am a little late, but can you help me understand how its not running at higher fps when the cpu and gpu utilisation is generally low
GPU wise emulators don't utilise much GPU resources as for the CPU not to sure of. But generally the better the CPU the more performance you will get here is a small list of CPU rated by tiers for RPCS3. Edit, For some reason it's only monitoring one CPU core so that's why it's so low

Yes you can cap it in the custom game configuration screen through RPCS3. Or can disable the unlocked FPS through the manage patches tab.
I’ve got pacific rift. And that hits 60 most of the time. Never drops below 58fps. I do have it at 720p though. Apocalypse, even with the frame rate unlocked. Doesn’t go above 35. I have an RTX 3050. I assume my pc isn’t powerful enough. But then surely if I can run pacific rift at 60?
Needs a really good CPU to get the most out of it unfortunately.

@@richwatson1985 Making the resolution lower won't make much difference. As like I said it will just be a CPU bottleneck. Some maps will work better than others. I would suggest playing free play and lower the AI count on it.
@@projecttemporal thanks il try that. What do you leave your fps on, auto, infinite, 60 etc? As with apocalypse. I get a slight boost on infinite.
