It may be helpful to say “do we have room in the budget for xyz” instead of “can I get/purchase this item”...and/or have monthly budget meetings where your husband is like the CFO presenting the numbers to the CEO (you) and you can play off that analogy and see yourselves as executives of a very important organization called Marriage LLC. Dang, that fantasy one got me. I know I idealize things by spending way more time thinking about them than actually living them out. Can you address that in your #AsktheAfadis. I love how you are best friends and free around each other. I hope it doesn't come across as invasive. I've heard married Christian couples say in dating the desire to have sex with each other gets so intense but in marriage it's the complete opposite, like everything just tries to pull you apart to not have sex. Has it been the case with the two of you? Adella this one is for you. How did you navigate the whole contraceptive thing. I mean moving from single to now married and I don't want to immediately have kids. How has that journey been like for you? Because chile these hormones and balancing can be wild.
