For those wondering, Auiri’s hand has what I presume to be the same marking shown in Episode 1 of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Much respect.

Professor's character is probably the most consistent yet unique personality in-and-out. I never fail to enjoy his commercials.

It's official now: Rakdos decks are cursed with mana starvation in this show.
Honestly it’s just a Rakdos problem, my roommate has a lord of riots deck and 90% of the time he gets no land and the other 10 it’s only lands. I’m convinced the name is cursed
Rakdos decks are designed to be bad luck on this show.
if you play rakdos decks u need to be aware of the mana fuckd part, its always like a russian roulette but on cards :v
@@zrg5004 That's probably why people love Prosper so much: he provides card drawing to help find lands AND treasures.
@@DarkEinherjar can confirm, Prosper has less mana screw than most decks, even green! It’s a beast of a Commander.

Best game I’ve seen in a while. Everyone had a chance at different times. Great interactions, great guests, unique decks. Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing these two on again, y’all had good chemistry. 10/10 would swan song again.

I counted it out, Josh died to himself actually. He took 40 damage from cards he played, and only 14 from effects that someone else controlled, but that damage got negated by Jimmy's healing spell. So in conclusion, Josh didn't die to drawing a card, he died to himself.
he died on his own terms. respect!!

The best episode of Game Knights ever. This was just the best gameplay between all of the back and forth action and politics. I could’ve watched them play for another hour!
Aiury is the absolute man. Love this dude. Want him back again and again. Also would love to play with him. Seems like sucha cool and considerate do.

I didn’t know how much I needed Xanathar dancing in my life, but I did.
That scheming symmetry made me feel like I was watching The Princess Bride… “I can’t choose the card in front of you, because you know I would take it. But because I know you know I could take it, I clearly can’t take that card and must choose the other card in front of me. But because I know you know I know, I have to take the card in front of you”
Funny thing Aury mentions not having a Rakdos Charm as he is looking through his deck, since that's a card that could have won him the game 😅.

Laughed out loud at the subtle Terminator Easter egg when the Terminate got cast at around 14:50.
I remember them doing this during the AFR episode as well, which was even more fitting since Joe started doing Arnie impressions.
Hey Aiury, it was nice meeting you in King's Game in Brooklyn that you were visiting before having to leave. Nice of you to mention that you were gonna be on Game Knights, amazing to finally see your debut. I know my friends and I said to target Josh first cuz "He's too dangerous to be left alive!" but he pretty much was hurting himself more than you were, but but end up teaming with him anyways that ends up hurting you as well😆. At least Josh didn't win, so you did good and nice infect suicide!
It was so great meeting you!!! Yeah, I shoulda stuck with the gameplan! I had so much fun playin with yall, can't wait to get back out there and get the rematch!!

I discovered this channel a few weeks ago since I've been picking up the cards since 2006. I love Commander games I've lost count of the videos I've seen, even some with a few years. Keep up the good work, it's awesome. Overall Jimmy and Josh are great people keep doing what you're doing now. I just hope they see this.

Wow, i love the power level. Exactly my favourite way to play commander: Decks with clear identities allowing interesting build around cards to thrive without being too oppressive (and also expensive) for the table. Nicely balanced.
At approximately 1:15:00 when Aiury targets Shadrix it seems weird. He should’ve activated the ability once at a time. If jimmy realized what was up after the 1st trigger and decided to activate westvale at that point aiury would lose one trigger but still have 4 mana and 2 creatures to sac. If jimmy lets the first two resolve, Aiury still gets two cards and the ability only fizzles on the third. The problem lies in activating the triggers in response to one another.
It would have made Jimmy sacrafice shadrix on the third activation of lyzolda and probably allow the first 2 activations resolve.

Party xanathar looks so happy with himself but what killed me was the camera quickly ignoring him for the fish.

this was actually one of my favorite games I've watched.
It had so many board wipes and late game shenanigans that reminding me of the nostalgia I felt when I used to play commander around the table with friends.
11:41 when Zach said "This card is so good in Emiel" about Yasharn I was convinced he'd said "This card is so good in a meal" and thought it was the best mtg pun there could possibly be about a well cooked wild boar.

I've got a Silverquill deck as well, but it's a group hug deck that passes out whatever other players need, but at a price. Anything I hand out either hurts them or gains me more value. Lot of fun seeing decks I have played in alternate ways

58:00 Aiury should have told josh “if you counter this I’ll kill you in two turns with direct damage” cuz with all that mana he could have just sacked the goblins to bring josh to 2 life, which is just one red sacrifice away from death.
Or could've offered to kill Zach if he rescinded the counterspell
