People make sub optimal plays and even just down right bad plays for the fun of the game instead of the win. I've thrown away many wins in commander just to allow people at the table to have fun and be able to do something instead of getting locked down the entire game until their dead. If everyone was optimal and actually focused on good threat assessment then every single person in the game would look for the person posing the biggest threat and would instantly gang up on them until they died and not allow them to do anything in the game at all. It would make for an extremely unfun format that goes against the entire core foundation of what commander was built on. Also FYI im not talking about CEDH in this example as that is an entirely different experience where everyone at the table opts into that type of experience.
I love it whenever famous Heartstone streamer Voxy can join and play some Magic for once! For real though, Voxy is always such a treat to watch. Oh and I guess JLK is cool too.

Ah now this was a fun table. Voxy always fun to see play commander especially when she's being a straight up menace. The dynamic between these four was especially great, and this channel sets a consistently high bar with guest chemistry. Also, because I don't think it gets said enough, Olivia and Brian are definitely setting relationship goals, based on what we see on camera. Gameplay fuckups are bound to happen, and I couldn't care less; it's the atmosphere and the chemistry that keeps me engaged.

I knew it was blair witch style going in when i saw it years ago when it came out, but just the way its done and the acting gave more credence to the fact this shit could be happening. Alien abductions is one of my only rationally irrational fears that i legit cannot control, That scene about the OWLS in particular stuck me with to this day, i got goosebumps just remembering it when Josh said it. It like how i feel with ghosts, i don't believe in them rationally, but im not so brave at midnight in a old house by myself sometimes, as much as i'd like to think otherwise.

JLK doesn't know how to power down his decks for casual. Last time he was on, he brought thrassios/vial smasher and obviously took the win, and it wasn't even close. Yes, he is a great deck builder and pilot, but theres a time and a place for high powered decks to make an appearance and he doesn't seem to understand that. It definitely feels a bit pub stompy. Brian is an amazing magic player and he is very often the threat, but he does it with usually lower powered cards and its always creature based so it's fully advertising what's coming. Idk, maybe it's just me but I'd feel a bit unfulfilled by sitting in a casual pod and just getting rolled the entire time.
