  • ABUJA CITY: What To Expect If You Are Planning to Visit or Relocating to This Big City.
Hello my Explorers! I recently had a tour of the beautiful city of Abuja to show you what Abuja looks and what to expect if you are planning visiting or relcoating to this beautiful city, this video showcases the Abuja city center, the central business district, some beautiful and iconic buildings in Abuja. also showcases key places you could visit to have some amazing fun places like. THE JABILAKE, JABILAKEMALL, MELLINIUM PARK, NIKE ART GALLERY, AND HAVING A NICE TIME TO HIKE WITH FRIENDS.
The central business district is primarily commercial and you’ll find The World Trade Center commercial and residential towers, The National Mosque and Church, The Central Bank of Nigeria among others.
Abuja is the capital and eighth most populous city in Nigeria. Located in the centre of the country within the Federal Capital Territory, it is a planned city built mainly in the 1980s based on a master plan by Japanese architect KenzoTange. It replaced Lagos, the country's most populous city, as the capital on December 12, 1991.
What I like about Abuja is that most of the buildings are very beautiful and modern looking. I think it's because most of them have been built recently. When I look at Abuja, I see a model city of what every African city should aspire to be; one that is clean, modern, and well organized.
While primarily a governmental city, Abuja has also developed as an economic hub, attracting businesses and diplomatic missions.
Which has made it to be known for a relatively high cost of living, including housing, transportation, and other essentials.
If you're considering relocating to Abuja and you're part of the working class, it's advisable to have a minimum of 7 million naira in your account initially. This amount will enable you to secure comfortable accommodation and set up your living space effectively as well as cover for other essentials you may need.
Abuja, Nigeria's capital, showcases impressive modern buildings and a well-planned road network. The city's skyline features sleek architecture, reflecting economic growth and urban development. Compared to some other African countries, Abuja stands out for its infrastructure, yet variations exist across the continent. Factors like governance, economic stability, and regional disparities influence the state of modernization in different African cities.
Abuja is a home to array of different parks and green areas such as the JABIBLAKE.
JabiLake, situated in Abuja, Nigeria, is a prominent artificial lake and the namesake for the JabiLake Mall. The lake offers a picturesque setting for recreational activities, including boat rides and lakeside strolls. JabiLake Mall, adjacent to the lake, is a modern shopping and entertainment complex, featuring a variety of retail outlets, restaurants, and cinemas. The combination of natural beauty and commercial amenities makes JabiLake a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, contributing to Abuja's dynamic urban landscape.
In cause of making this video, I decided to spend sometime experiencing the boat ride in Jabi Lake
Another place you can get an amazing relaxation is the Millennium Park. It's a stunning urban green space that offers a tranquil escape from the city bustle. With lush landscapes, walking paths, and artistic sculptures, it provides a serene environment for relaxation and recreation. The park is a popular spot for both locals and visitors, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for nature in the heart of the capital.
If you are the type that is easy fascinated by the work of art, then, Nike art gallery is a perfect place to visit with you family or spouse.
Nike Art Gallery in Abuja is a cultural gem, showcasing the rich diversity of Nigerian artistry. Located in the heart of the city, it boasts an impressive collection of traditional and contemporary African art, including paintings, sculptures, and textiles. The gallery serves as a vibrant hub for artists and enthusiasts, promoting the appreciation of Nigeria's artistic heritage. A visit to Nike Art Gallery offers a fascinating journey through the country's creative expression and a chance to support local talents.
