Dan, you scored really big in today's video. You caught a problem before it was a massive problem. Don't be so hard on yourself. Maybe you could work really early mornings. Get up before the chickens, do coffee, get yourself put together start on work when there is just enough light to see work until noon call it a day work in side on somethings. My auntie, used to get up at 4am had tea. Got herself and I together, and then we hit the gardens. We picked washed canned and weeded until noon every day. It was a slow process, but it worked. Come fall, we had a cellar full of yummy food, clean gardens, and beautiful flowers. All in triple digit heat, no air condition. You got this.

Brilliant a usual. I’m an old builder also called Dan, who has done lots of building in France in the past. If you have any more beams to get up to that roof. The “trick” is to have something elevated (pile of pallets, beam off cuts etc) rest the beams end up un that pile. Then when you get to the upper section, the centre point of the beam should be closer to the upper floor. Then you can pull it over easier. (Fulcrum or something like that) This is just a helpful hint I hope. I really don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. You’re great. Just trying to save your back. As I said earlier. I’m an old builder, but feeling older than I should in the back department.
