The Diktat was annoying the crap out of me so I blasted their space station to pieces with a plasma cannon. I wasn't even looking for A.I cores, but I found one floating in the station wreckage. Only said core got lucky, since I let them govern planets. The one you picked up is probably crying right now. Seeing the luddic flag on the side of a ship is not a good omen for A.I.

im really glad u used the LP castella, its such an underrated capital imo, it gets better without ill-advised modifications, a total bullet hose if it gets close, btw, add reinforced bulkheads on ur ied shipsifbu havent, higher chances for recovery when they finish their job fun fact: IEDs got a buff somewhere in the last 3-5 weeks, their explosions ignorr shields
It's a really cool capital ship. Fits well with the pather aesthetic 😂. I just wish the IEDs were more survivable... But then they may be a little too OP... Haha brings the protection tactics into the mix i suppose!
@@PapaCheddar IED Prometheus is very much survivable when not thrown in front if a station, also if LP castella can get close enough snd use its dash, its generally an instakill for whoever the dash was oriented to (if it hits), unless its something fatter and/or tankier, then its a high amount of damage, my damn ristreza got killed by being purely rammed so many times its not even funny, the anargaia eas first to ram my ristreza and instantly blow it away, i mean it's literally the repartition society's ark so no wonder, then a colatlus appeared out of the blue and did it, yes its name is atlas and colossus combined cuz thats what the ship is, then ristreza fell victim to a LP castella, u already know how that ended by this text, ramming is very funny, if u are the one doing it
I didn't pilot the castella for very long before giving it over to AI. If the ram is that powerful i may need to dive in again lol. I was enjoying the smaller hammerhead looking LP ramming ship at the start. Forget the name aha. This is the first time I've really used mods so i haven't figured out all the new ships fully yet aha.

In my work and personal life I do at least half the things I do because its funny 😂 Starsector is such a good game, especially getting into mods now theres so much to try and do haha. The lore in the mission descrives them as the single most prosperous system in the sector before then.

It must be an oversight. I couldn't find much lore to this mod at first glance but the author did mention the Luddic Path IED ramming of Mairaath stations still happening in this timeline - it just wasn't successful. Mayasurans should probably still hate Pathers a little more than most, Pathers did TRY to destroy their homeworld after all.
IED is from Luddic Enhancement. If you only wants it. Fair warning, cool when you use it, not cool when 2 of your Onslaught gets one shot by one of them, and your starfortress with another.

Man... I'm about 40 to 50 playthrus into starsector. I even turned down som parameters in next, no incmvasions for 5 years, but no alliances really changed it a lot. Well, today I realized that even though the ai can't ally, I can, and so I allied with my only molded faction uaf. Okay, so everything is peaceful, even the luddies, I've already gotten the diplomatic victory, then onto extra late game stuff... then my ally declares war on the lchurch.... I invade 6 planets in under 3 months.... bye church... I feel guilty... this is usually why I start a new game... lp run next I think.
