You have to think, for Batman to move that fast, he would have to muster all the strength hes got to just get out of sight in the small instant he has to do it without getting noticed. Imagine you saw this whole calm conversation with Gordon in the third person, at one point the man turns his head away for a moment only for Batman to suddenly pull himself away like a strained Olympian sprinter. It must look so strange to anyone who would see it.
Nah if his methods are silent and he escapes in a dark direction then his dark outfit is doing most of the work. He just needs the timing and direction. As to how he pulls this off on Superman, who the hell knows.
If you compare the edited scene to the original scene, you kinda get what's called the Kuleshov effect. It's an phenomenal effect that has you interpreting a scene with two shots together rather than one by itself. I.E. in the original scene, Gordon acts with bewilderment when Batman disappears. In the edited scene, Gordon seems as though he's wondering what an idiot Batman is. EDIT: This really isn't to flex on anyone. I learned this in film class. It reminded me of what the teacher taught me.
Because he consideres himself batman, his other voice is the costume. He thinks his costume is Bruce Wayne. When wonder women put the laso on everyone asking their identies, everyone said their secret identity and batman said batman, because it's who he truthfully thinks his identiy is.
Let's just take a moment to think about why tf is he dissapering like that, there is no purpose in that, like why tf would you jump through the entire room just so that they can't see you walk away
I liked that they embraced all the realities of the character in Pattinson's Batman. Although they do let him 'disappear' in a couple scenes, you also see him literally knock on a door to punch his way in, run, and show his realistic human limits. All while being able to take it seriously.
@@jayb235 Well he's not running around in underwear, so there's that. Everyone took The Dark Knight seriously but we still had to stretch reality a bit when it came to someone dressing up like a Bat. Pattinson's is as realistic a take as we've ever seen. He is, in fact, slightly crazy. I like the implication that (spoiler) Bruce could've inherited mental illness from his mother.

Kevin Conroy really had the voice right: Batman sounded like the character's natural voice, and Bruce Wayne sounded more like the 'mask' voice. Bale's version seems ridiculous.

I liked that they embraced all the realities of the character in Pattinson's Batman. Although they do let him 'disappear' in a couple scenes, you also see him literally knock on a door to punch his way in, run, and show his realistic human limits. All while being able to take it seriously.
I also like how he had a genuine reason disappearing, because Alfred was in danger and he had to rush there quickly.

Pattinson's is as realistic a take as we've ever seen. He is, in fact, slightly crazy. I like the implication that (spoiler) Bruce could've inherited mental illness from his mother.

I wonder how many times this actually happens with Batman and Gordon. Like, they both know it happens, but they don't mention it to each other. There's that one time that happens every once in awhile where Gordon looks at Batman for too long, so they just awkwardly stare at each other. Lasting one or a few seconds longer than normal. And if there's alternate universes, then that means there's a universe where Gordon always does this. Just stares at Batman. Always. He can't leave easy. Because Gordon's watching.
