I don't think you're boring at all. I have sailed Downeast for many years and would love to have a whole summer to explore Newfoundland. I am not near your level of expertise and enjoyed your instructional comments.

Thanks! I really look forward to reading my video comments. An overwhelming majority of them are really positive and kind. Making boring, time wasting videos are something that I am a bit self-conscious of. But not to the point of artificially pumping up my videos to look like something that it's not. Sailing if done right is pretty boring. In fact, more boring the better. Less stress that way.

You timed the winds pretty well looks like. I am assuming you landed into what the locals call Bonne Bay which is a beautiful harbour. Woody point has a great history and little shops. You will find those streams all along the NL coastline. No worries about the water because it is always safe and clean. You are actually only allowed to fish in the ocean at certain times of the year and certain weekends in Aug. When allowed, the cod are at 100-200ft of dept usually or watch for locals fishing and join them.

Oh no! Hope we weren't breaking any laws by fishing. Not that I'm worried about getting in trouble (especially after the fact). I just don't want to be disrespectful to the place. That being said, it would have been awesome to bring in a cod. But those red perch were tasty. We caught enough of them to invite a couple over for a fish fry dinner. Woody Point treated us well. We stayed a couple of nights.

Great sailing channel. I already copied your reef line setup on the main.

Yeah bud, thanks for the comment. I'm happy with my reef setup. Hope it serves you well too.

It’s pronounced Morn, as in Morning, not moraine. I feel like the Newfoundland language police. Nice vid though.
    NL raspberries are the BOMB!!!

    Another boring “sailing” couple…
