Great many thanks to Cold Steel for years of dedication to their craft and on-going exercise of their integrity. After many years of a K-bar tied to my shoulder when going outdoors, finally switched to the Kobun. I grappled with this decision to the point of headache for almost a year. Being lighter and more versatile, both in handling and point of attachment, the Kobun is now the confidence carry. The Ultimate Hunter with the Therarun grip is always in my pack(man's gotta eat), but one must always be ready for what lies ahead.
I have been collecting cold Steel knives ever since I was in 10th Mountain Commandos in the late 80's. My favorite of all time is their first Recon Tanto with a sandblast finish. I carried it and a buddy of mine carried it when he was in Iraq. Battle tested and proven to be OUTSTANDING!!
The Perfect Balance thrower is my favorite Cold Steel fixed bade. I’m an avid knife thrower, and the Perfect Balance is the blade that inspired me to take up the sport. Many years later, and after acquiring and using many different throwing knives, it remains my favorite go-to thrower. Thanks, Cold Steel!
My favorite folder is the Espada XL with the black micarta scales, but my favorite fixed blade is probably the 1917 Frontier Bowie. I have dozens of their knives, however.
I own several Cold Steel knives. I find them to be some of the best values out there. I own from value oriented low priced knives up to expensive models. The funny thing is that my favorite Cold Steel knife is one of the kitchen models. I bought an 8" Chef's knife to use around the kitchen. A couple of years ago I took a kitchen knife class and learned to use a Chef's knife for slicing, chopping and general prep work. I used a knife valued at $600 that belonged to the instructor. Now I won't claim that my Cold Steel is as good as his but I will say it takes a great edge and last a long time on general kitchen chores. I use it almost daily and it never fails to surprise me with how good it is considering it was less than $20. I read reports all of the time about how I should be using this knife or that kind of steel. Cold Steel knives consistently get the job done, resharpen quickly and hold an edge for a long time. I have 3 other kitchen knives and about a dozen other models. For my money they are one of the best brands out there.
I personally love the Bushmaster series, I own the Bowie and was skeptical until I received it, wrapped the handle, sharpened the first half of the back side, and mounted it on a pole. I have since cut tatami, water bottles, pool noodles, and thrown it as a spear and now I'm very impressed with it's durability and light weight! Cold steel rocks!
Great Video. I literately have everyone of those knives but the chaos Bowie. Tango Lite has been my favorite. I’ve had it for years. Keep one my my truck and one with me hiking.
I like the higher end blades, Magnum Warcraft and the San Mai Trailmaster but my favorite is my SK5 Bushman. I owned it for years and it has completed task that a broke an expensive knife trying to accomplish!
My all time favorite Cold Steel fixed blade easily has to be the Safe Maker I Push Dagger. The length of the blade when pitted against it's Safe Maker II counterpart is what gives it my favor. A truly solid build from a truly amazing company.
Love the vid and your customer service is just amazing. I ordered my current favorite cold steel blade from you, the G.I. Tanto, while on a deployment to the middle east and it arrived not only in a timely fashion but also inconspicuously marked (ensuring the mail trolls didn't dig through and pilfer it, a common military mail issue). Thanks again, KnifeCenter is a class act, I'm a lifetime customer for sure!
Gucci Mang That’s next on my list . I invite you to come check out and sub to my channel . I think you will like it . Lots and lots of knives . Thanks 🤠
My favorite Cold Steel blade is my well used Pendleton Hunter, as its great for skinning deer, bear, elk and whatever else I have thrown at it over the past few years.
I’ve got a bunch of CS folders and fixed blades, but my Magnum San Mai Tanto with 9” blade is my all time bad ass razor sharp knife. I also have all the variants of their Kukris, and you can’t go wrong with any of them.
1917 frontier bowie all the way! All my knives are Cold Steel made folder or fixed. Cold Steel has the best knives. My every day carry is their XL Espada.
Definitely like the Trailmaster San Mai out of all the models listed, but the Magnum Warcraft Tanto, Magnum XII San Mai Tanto, and the A2 Kukri Plus are my overall favs.
Cold Steel makes some great quality knives. I love my GI Tanto. Really solid knife and sheath for the price. The SRK in San Mai also looks like a beast of a knife.
Hands down my favorite cold steel blade would have to be the Laredo bowie. Second would have to be the dragonfly series. Always a fan of cold steel. Own several
I have so many CS knives that it's hard to say which one is my favorite. I started buying them in the early days of their operation. Some were even seconds; and there was nothing wrong with them. The only one I didn't appreciate has a westernized tanto point. But maybe I like the Trailmaster best.
Finn Wolf folder would be my current favorite. It's a knife that can get a workout in just about any daily use. Then just clean it up so it's ready for the weekend camping & fishing. Stash a Finn Hawk with your weekend gear & you're all set.
Love the double agent knives. Used the double agent knives for butchering pigs; no matter how slick your hands are with blood you can hang on to these knives thanks to the grip rings.
I very much like the chaos series for its uniqueness and rugged durability. I’ve come to dearly respect cold steel knives in general as amongst the best production knives to be bought, and I may not have handled the chaos series personally, but I have no doubts in my heart anyone could count on them.
I knew better than to park my truck out back!!!!! I love the SRK! I own the made in USA version in carbon V, it has taken a beating and is still going strong!
Love Cold Steel and Knife Center, I bought a Kimmy Bali from you guys lol. It’s messed up now but held up for like a year! I’ll be ordering from you guys again. My favorite knife is “Cold Steel 36MF Drop Forged Battle Ring 2 Fixed Blade Knife 3.5" 52100 Carbon Double Edge, Secure-Ex Sheath with Ulti-Clip”. Thanks guys!
I have one of the original cold steel Tantos that I purchased in the eighties,it’s an amazing blade that I’m proud to own,I also have a safe maker and several Cold Steel folders all good blades but that Tanto I hold dear.
I like the SRK. And thanks for showing some outtakes. You’re always so polished in your delivery, it’s amusing to see that you occasionally goof like the rest of us. :)
It has to be the Magnum Tanto XII. Nothing is going to beat the insane steel quality (12 inches of 3V at this price???) fit, finish and beautiful badass design. Glad I bought one to add to my close 2nd place Recon Tanto and growing collection of Cold Steel folders.
My favorite Cold Steel fixed blade knife is the basic SRK in SK-5 steel. It’s $42 bucks and it is tough as nails. I don’t feel bad about beating on it and it holds an edge pretty good.
How could I pick just one favorite Cold Steel blade? My EDC since 1995 has been the XL Voyager. My get dressed up Knife is the Rhino (now discontinued). Then there is my Larado Bowie Knife and Outdoorsman, and Sisu what amazing blades. I desire the Dragonfly Katana, Magnum Tanto 12” VG-10 SanMai, and the Pendleton Custom Classic. So many great knives, so little time. The great thing about them all is the forge quality and sharpness!
I like the Warcraft Tanto. It seems like the right size for a self defense knife. I feel you would have better control with a knife this size than a big oversized Bowie.
I would have to say my faviorate would be the trail master bowie. I love a classic looking bowie for working outdoors or for a EDC. Although the chaos bowie is very cool looking an tough I prefer a good classic.
Of this grouping, I like the Warcraft with the Tanto tip. I'm a sucker for Tanto blades. However, I also like the Cold Steel Machete as well as the ColdSteel Kukri.
Kyle Sobrecarey I see that you haven't ever been im a knife fight or seen one, dont believe in your karambit it sucks. If someone wants to really hurt you like a robber, he comes fast and hard as he can, if he has something that has more reach than your couple inch karambit you're done. Or if he sees you having a karambit and has the knowledge of a street ghetto martial arts, he instantly sees that you only have couple ways to slash. Something like a push dagger is better choice for self defense, but if you carry anything, you should always expect that the possible attacker has something far deadlier. And what is deadlier than a karambit? Any guy who knows little martial arts
Great video! Thanks for putting this together, good luck to everyone!
My favorite Cold Steel fixed blade has always been the SRK in Carbon V steel.
I hope to become a fan of cold steel by winning the caps bowie
Great many thanks to Cold Steel for years of dedication to their craft and on-going exercise of their integrity. Many years later, and after acquiring and using many different throwing knives, it remains my favorite go-to thrower. Thanks, Cold Steel!
My favorite is the Trail Master for sure! The first one you guys showed. Nice!
I love the chaos kukri that I recently purchased!
My favorite folder is the Espada XL with the black micarta scales, but my favorite fixed blade is probably the 1917 Frontier Bowie. I have dozens of their knives, however.
I love the recon tanto. I first saw an early version of it carried by Rutger Hauer in an 80s movie and have loved it ever since.
I own several Cold Steel knives. I find them to be some of the best values out there. I own from value oriented low priced knives up to expensive models. The funny thing is that my favorite Cold Steel knife is one of the kitchen models. I bought an 8" Chef's knife to use around the kitchen. That D guard is a must have! What an excellent tool/fighting knife!
The Cold Steel Chaos Bowie is my favorite Cold Steel fixed blade. I love the way it looks and I have always wanted one.
Love the chaos kukri, works well from backyard to battlefield and back!
The Trailmaster Bowie is my favorite.
My favorite Cold Steel knife is the leatherneck tanto. I love the full tang d2 tool steel blade.
Warcraft tunto is a beauty!! Just got my first coldsteel the other day. Picked up the ad10. Love it!!! Hasnt left my pocket yet.
Cold Steel and Knife Center can't beat for value and variety. 👍👍
My all time favorite Cold Steel fixed blade easily has to be the Safe Maker I Push Dagger. The length of the blade when pitted against it's Safe Maker II counterpart is what gives it my favor. A truly solid build from a truly amazing company.

Black Bear Bowie Machete is my favorite one, Good Luck guise!
Gucci Mang That’s next on my list .
I invite you to come check out and sub to my channel .
I think you will like it .
Lots and lots of knives .
Thanks 🤠
I've been edc a roach belly for about 4 years now. It weighs 1 oz and gets light to moderate work done. Great value.
Great video! My favorite cold steel knife is Trailmaster san mai III. Thanks for everything Knife Center!!!!
Love the 36MB Drop Forged Boot Knife! Thanks for the opportunity!
Hi. I really love my Cold Steel Bowie Machete. It is a fine and handy camping tool. It's my favorite, I have 2.
RT
1917 frontier bowie all the way! All my knives are Cold Steel made folder or fixed. Cold Steel has the best knives. My every day carry is their XL Espada.
Definitely like the Trailmaster San Mai out of all the models listed, but the Magnum Warcraft Tanto, Magnum XII San Mai Tanto, and the A2 Kukri Plus are my overall favs.
My favorite Cold Steel Fixed Blade is the Master Hunter in the VG1 San Mai III and the Code 4 Clip Point in CTS-XHP is my favorite Cold Steel Folder.
My pick is the Master Hunter. I absolutely love this knife and I carry it very often . Mine is in 3V steel.
The Cold Steel SRK is my favorite out of all their fixed blades. Not too large, but with a useful size and easy to carry.
Warcraft tanto is a favorite. I keep a recon 1 within reach on the nightstand.
LOVE Cold Steel...I have 3 SRK's! But my fave is the Trailmaster.
Im getting the new chaos bowie ,but my favourite is the coldsteel bushman .versatility
My favorite of the video models is the Chaos Bowie, I bought a Chaos Kukri for my brother's 40th birthday and will be buying myself one shortly.
Cold Steel makes some great quality knives. I love my GI Tanto. Really solid knife and sheath for the price. The SRK in San Mai also looks like a beast of a knife.
That 16JSM looks nice. My current favorite CS fixed blades are the OSI & OSS.
is it weird to have a favorite cold steel knife that I've never actually gotten to hold in my own hands? For me that would be the Chaos bowie.
My favorite has to be the trench knife, since it's the design that first introduced me to Cold Steel.
The Trail Master San Mai is my favorite blade such an awesome knife!
My favorite is the Cold Steel 49LCKZ SRK Survival Rescue Knife with a 6" Blade. Simple, nothing fancy, and it works.
Hands down my favorite cold steel blade would have to be the Laredo bowie. Second would have to be the dragonfly series. Always a fan of cold steel. Own several
The Trailmaster San Mai is my favorite but the Chaos Bowie is awesome too!
I have so many CS knives that it's hard to say which one is my favorite. I started buying them in the early days of their operation. Some were even seconds; and there was nothing wrong with them. The only one I didn't appreciate has a westernized tanto point. But maybe I like the Trailmaster best.

Just recently purchased cold steels 13 inch blade tanto machete. Well pleased so far.

Really like the CS trailboss ax, the tomahawks, and the Bowie's, especially the trailmaster in 0-1 steel
At this point, my favorite CS fixed blade is the Chaos Kukri. It's big, solid, and chops well.
Trailmaster is my favorite fixed blade for sure!
I'd love to own a larger cold steel bowtie. The trail master bowie is awesome but so is any cold steel.
I daily carry the cold steel tanto spike.
I’m thinking that the 4max or Ad10 would be my favorite that I don’t have in the CS Folders. The large espada is my favorite CS folder.
My favorite Cold Steel is the SRK series. For me, it’s a perfect design of a fixed blade.
A favorite is hard to name. My most used Cold Steel fixed blade is my mini Pendleton Hunter. I EDC it.
Love the SRK. I think it’s the ideal all-purpose fixed blade knife. Just ordered one in CPM 3V. Should be here next week.
The trailmaster. No doubt. I have the carbon V version since the 1995 and i think it is the best knife ever made.
I have one of the original cold steel Tantos that I purchased in the eighties,it’s an amazing blade that I’m proud to own,I also have a safe maker and several Cold Steel folders all good blades but that Tanto I hold dear.
Want to get that mini tac tanto next. But that Warcraft is on my wishlist now.
I like the SRK. And thanks for showing some outtakes. You’re always so polished in your delivery, it’s amusing to see that you occasionally goof like the rest of us. :)
The SRK and the Sissu are my favorite CS fixed blades.
I love the shape and handle size of the warcraft tanto. I have the kobun tanto and like the style of that knife :D
I would have to say that my favorite Cold Steel is the Tri-Fold Triple action tanto knife.
GI tanto. For the price can't be beat. It's a beast
How could I pick just one favorite Cold Steel blade? My EDC since 1995 has been the XL Voyager. My get dressed up Knife is the Rhino (now discontinued). So many great knives, so little time. The great thing about them all is the forge quality and sharpness!
My favorite is my first...Master Hunter in Carbon V!
I like the Warcraft Tanto. It seems like the right size for a self defense knife. I feel you would have better control with a knife this size than a big oversized Bowie.
I like the Bushmans! Nearly Infinitely useful & they can be turned into spears!
I'd love to win that Chaos Bowie. My favorite is the Wild West Bowie..I love that thing.
cold stee kobun is my favorite it's quite a nifty little tanto
I would have to say my faviorate would be the trail master bowie. I love a classic looking bowie for working outdoors or for a EDC. Although the chaos bowie is very cool looking an tough I prefer a good classic.
I Love my SRK in SK-5! I Won't go into the "Wild" without it, I really do carry it even if I'm just going to be in the backyard for awhile!
My favorite Cold Steel knife I own right now is probably my Marauder but I kind of wished I bought the OSS instead, I might pick up an OSS later.
Of this grouping, I like the Warcraft with the Tanto tip. I'm a sucker for Tanto blades. However, I also like the Cold Steel Machete as well as the ColdSteel Kukri.
My favorite is the Cold Steel 16JSM Trail Master Fixed 9-1/2" VG-1 San Mai III Blade

Warcraft Tanto has to be one of the coolest ever.
My favourite knife is the double agent karambit knife, best weapon for combat and has a nice grip to it
Kyle Sobrecarey I see that you haven't ever been im a knife fight or seen one, dont believe in your karambit it sucks. I'm a big fan of the Recon-1 tanto. My favorite fixed blade though would probably be the SRK.
That Magnum Warcraft Tanto is my favorite CS knife that I don't own; my Carbon V Oyabun is my favorite of the ones I do own.
I keep the Finn Bear in my car and I’ve used it more times than I can count, small but reliable for near about anything I’ve thrown at it
I love the trail master Bowie. Fantastic knife from a fantastic company..
I recieved the Chaos Bowie as a gift. Very happy with it
Thanks for the video. I don't have any coldsteel knife yet. But my feelings said that I'll have my first very soon. Love your videos knifecenter
