Thank you for demonstrating this very useful tool. I understood perfectly. I've watched it twice and also the bracelet one. It's bigger and easier to see.

Home machine shop is another hobby of mine (duh!), and I enjoy making my own jigs and fixtures rather than buying them. Thanks for a great tut!
Glad you liked the video Tom! Not surprised you found it relaxing, I think that's a big part of the appeal of this sort of crafting no matter what the material. Lovely video, and such pretty rings for all sorts of jewelry applications. Size 7 is, I think, one of the most common ring sizes, so I'm surprised that wasn't built in; may have been a mandatory manufacturing sizing choice. If possible, I would probably shorten the original wire length so as not to have so much wire to pull through; but I'd have to be sure I also left myself enough wire! The ring with beads is beautiful. I may buy one of these if I were sure I'd actually use it! Beadalon sure has a lot of clever inventions in its collection. Thank you for showing how this works!
Personally I feel this video was VERY WELL DONE. I was able to take my Ring Weaver Tool out of the box, follow along and make my 1st ring!! I did have the video on large screen and have to stop and rewind or pause BUT it got the job done.
This looks so cool!! I'd LOVE to buy one and try this!! May I request a couple extra shots at a slightly different angle, and maybe for you to explain what you meant by "in and out"? Thank you for posting this! I'm sure a lot of people will be inspired by this to make their own creations!

You dont have to buy one of these. Take your favorite ring trace it on a piece of paper. Get slender nails and a piece of wood put the paper on the wood and hammer in the nails as you see fit.
Get straight ones so it will slide off easy .. I had a true blonde moment as was like well, crap, I can’t get my wire off hahahah .. even just a little head on the nail is too much .. I ended up just pulling the nails out and snipping the tops off but I should have just got those with hardly any head on it

Happy new year! If needed, you can find the Ring Weaver Tool here: www.beadaholique.com/beadalon-ring-weaver-tool-aluminum-base-with-18-pins-makes-sizes-4-6-9-11.html
This is awesome! 😃 I'm familiar with weaving using yarn so I had no trouble following along. I'm new to wire wrapping and I couldn't see the very last wrap-and-tuck (not your fault - my phone display is small) but you gave very clear verbal instructions to cut wire to the outside of the ring so I'm sure I'd have no trouble figuring it out. Thank you so much for taking the time to share. Many blessings to you! 😇
Mary Pead. At the beginning of the Tutorial, she said this tool had four sizes. She showed the sizes very quickly, but I remember the largest was 11, then the size 9 she used in the Tutorial. I think the other two sizes were 7 and 5. You determined what size by where you put the pegs to start.
The sizes the ring weaver makes are 4, 6, 9 and 11, but for a size 7 you can make a size 6 and then stretch it by using a ring mandrel. Be very careful while you're stretching it to a 7 though, you don't want to warp the wires.
The ring weaver has spacings for size 9 and size 11 rings, so if you're a little closer to one of those than the other you could be alright, if you're right in the middle at a perfect size 10 then it may not make a good fit for you. Wire gauge will play a role too; depending on how thick or thin the wire is you may be able to fine tune the fit.
Hi Hyasmin you can order the ring weaver directly from our store here: beadaholique.com/products/beadalon-ring-weaver-tool-aluminum-base-with-18-pins-makes-sizes-4-6-9-11
If she wears a 7 and 8 a size 9 will be too big... @Maxine M: Actually you should be able to make a size 6 and size it up a 7 on a ring mandrel without too much distortion (if you know how to do so without flattening your wire).

How about someone suggesting a tutorial, or making a tutorial, that's easier for one to follow.(seriously, I'd like to see favorite ring wire wrapping as I'm newer at rings than the rest, other than the simplest wrap around). Also, making a copper wire wrapped ring--- isn't that going to turn a finger green in a second? I've never gotten an answer that satisfies me when I ask about sealants such as protectaclear ( seems to be seen as one of the best. But is it super thin or something? How to avoid having it collect in the little coils and weaves? And with Renaissance wax, how effective is that, same question about settling in grooves and coils? I know I need to do more copper wire wrapping as it is so cheap, I just got to a point where I felt like if I'm going to do the same amt of work I'd rather get paid more for the silver one. And as far as valuable stones and extremely time consuming methods, I want to continue to stick with silver for custom pendants from 65-100$; people charge far more than that for sterling on a nice stone w intricate design, and so on, but I'm thinking I'd rather do rings in silver...
Tara Brown ikr I've stuck to silver as well, but would like you to know that what turns your finger green is nickel which is in most fake jewelry, that's why you'll see some fake earrings say allergy free , as long as the metal you're using is nickel free it doesn't turn your skin green. But I still only use Sterling silver because I can make alot more money for it and I would never even make a gift for a friend in copper. If your skin does have a reaction to the copper the green mark will usually disappear overnight (if the ring is removed) or will easily wash away with soap and water. If you want to try to prevent the ring from turning your finger green you can apply clear nail polish to the inside of the ring.

Hi. ☺ Yes. It is a fairly basic weave. She starts out with the right hand strand, crosses it over the left strand, then behind the peg and to the front, and repeat (always crossing right strand over left and behind peg then to front). If you're not familiar with weaving, it might be helpful to play around with yarn on a loom to get the hang of it before moving on to wire. (yarn is more forgiving than wire - lol) I hope this helps. Enjoy. Cheers! ☺
paul goodier. Sometimes you can write out a comment & for whatever crazy reson the keyboard changes some words spellings. I've learned to re-read what I've written then hit the edit to fix words that were changed. Good luck with learning the guitar. When you learn 6 string you can learn 12 string as well. At good music stores they have a tuner you can buy for about $20. It is well worth the money. Also good to have spare strings & a small wire cutter. I can play by ear but also can read music. By learning to read music then you'll be able to play songs alot easyer. I wish you alot of joy with playing your music. I started with a piano then organ, then 6 string, then 12 string guitar, clarinet, then bass clarinet, then the different sax and so on. You can see a pattern. Maybe by getting a regular small keyboard & learn to read music I think it would help you very much on playing & enjoying music. Have fun on your musical journey. I've made money being in bands/groups. But the fun is the joy you can bring to yourself & others with your music.

Regrettably, Beadalon only manufactures the ring weaver for sizes 4/6/9/11. If you wear size 7 or 8, we recommend making a size 9 ring. Thank you.
If she wears a 7 and 8 a size 9 will be too big... @Maxine M: Actually you should be able to make a size 6 and size it up a 7 on a ring mandrel without too much distortion (if you know how to do so without flattening your wire).

If you're not familiar with weaving, it might be helpful to play around with yarn on a loom to get the hang of it before moving on to wire. (yarn is more forgiving than wire - lol) I hope this helps. Enjoy. Cheers! ☺
😀👍
They should include some shorter pegs

Possibly put the camera looking straight down from the top.
Hands were in the way and no size 7 or half sizes.

Patience man bloody patience can't you even spell??????.lol
paul goodier.
GhostCity Shelton *reason 😂 sorry
No size 7? I am guessing that size 7 is what would be considered the "average" size for most women....who decided which sizes would be made?
Couldn’t see you actually weave. You need a camera above you. 🙂
My fingers are getting tired watching this
Break time! : )
It was really hard to see how she was weaving. I might buy this product if I could actually see how to weave this ring. Thank you.
