I'm really glad I found this wire wrapping class.I've been wanting to learn how to wrap wire & had no idea about all the different wire and how they're used. Also how detailed you are in showing & explaining everything your doing. It makes it makes it a lot easier to learn.Which makes it fun! Thank you
Hi, my name is Laura. I am so inspired by watching Beadaholique's live tutorials. I am a long time collector of various hand made jewelry supplies. I am an impulsive supplies shopper. I see what I like and then I go shopping creazy. I will use my artistic wire to create some of the jewelry shown on your tutorials. You guys are so much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
Hi Ladies, 😂 This is the first time on your show.. I'm trying to learn the difference in wire. The beautiful colors the difference in the thickness , I'm so interested in learning how to make sun catchers , I know there are so many things to make. And hopefully make gifts for family and friends. Thank you for your creations.
Excellent class! I found it so inspiring to learn how to use the delicate wire (26) to make a beaded chain instead of making loops on both ends of the bead and joining them together with jump rings! Such an eye opener! I also enjoyed learning about the different wire gages and what they are used for.
Hey! This is my first class with you. I am delighted to hear you are going to talk about gauges. That was going to be my first question for you. Thank you very much!
Happy we could help! Tarnish protection is so important for any kind of jewelry that incorporates precious metal, but we wanted to focus on it here because we know how difficult it can be to clean delicately wrapped wire. With a bit of care these pieces can last years between cleanings though.
I have just lost my house to a foreclosure and I have been CRYING day in and day out and I have I think I have a month to leave, I have been in my house for 47 years. But last night when I was CRYING I loved to do crafts but I was just going to try to make jewelry because it takes my mind off the trouble I have been going through. But I love watching you and try to help people make jewelry. You're explaining to make different types of jewelry is so helpful. Thank you for showing us your beautiful work. And thank you for taking time to answer our questions about how you can make different designs. Thank you again.

This is my time watching a live class video. I have been doing wire wrapping and bead weaving etc. for years. I have so much wire and most of the tools u have but I forgot about some of them especially the jump ring( bail mandrels). I never thought to use them to make a double loop bail!!! Thanks so much for all ur informative tips and tricks. Even for me it was nice to have a refresher class.

You are such good teachers in wire wrapping!! I’m 75 yrs.old, & I’m starting in wire wrapping. Watching you from Kalispell Montana! What is the best wire for making your own jump rings?? Do you have to use different sizes of wire for different sizes? I really love watching you doing tutorials ; you are the best! Thanks a billion!!
Hi Carolita, glad to have you watching! For making your own jump rings I'd recommend looking at wires with a medium hardness. Non-tarnish brass is a good choice, as is sterling silver. Softer copper and base metal wires can work, but small handmade jump rings aren't so easy to work harden so it's usually best to use harder wires from the start. The most popular jump rings are 20 gauge and 18 gauge, so I'd look at wire in those sizes. There's no hard rule that says you have to use a certain gauge of wire for a certain diameter of jump ring, so feel to free to experiment there.

2nd time with you.this has been my therapy. I started doing wire wrapping jewelry after my mother passed away. she had given me a pink stone, and I want to have it close to my heart, so I taught myself how to encapture this beautiful stone in wire, she had a flower shop and come to find out that it was just a stone that they put in the bottom of vases. but i will always cherish it.
