I was in this show in my youth. I was just a mere little ensemble peasant soloist. I had wanted to role of Ti Moune SO badly or at least getting to be on one of the Gods. But I know if I got to be in this show again I'm sure I would get one of those roles. During rehearsals I would constantly be singing all the songs to myself and my one friend would tell me I could be an understudy for any of the 4 Gods and that made me feel good. But after these years of hearing Alex and others and now you singing this I know my voice is nowhere near powerful enough. I have the technique, but not the volume. If I sang this song without a mic no one would hear me.
