- Hi all, in this video I go over the best PlayStation Portable (PSP) Emulator for Android. PPSSPP is an incredible emulator that has a TON of options.
Included in this video is a tutorial / installation guide with the settings that I use/recommend in order to get your games up and running great!
Please note that most Android phones vary in some way, shape or form, so your settings may differ slightly from mine.

I first played ppsspp games in 2015. From that time till now in 2022 i still play because there are so many great games. I think this is the Nintendo switch of old decade.

PPSSPP is the best PSP emulator. I have over 56 games, some of them I played before and others I just played like several months ago. This is somehow gives me the nostalgic because I never get to play my favorite games for almost a decade ago with my actual PSP. It's easy for me to download PPSSPP in my computer and cellphone. This is awesome.

Hi, your emulator videos are amazing. Can you make detailed video about ePSXe? Especially about touchscreen control features (How can I add two joystick and one dpad on screen) and skins editing. And also can you make video about How to Play Old PC Games on Your Android? I know there are two emulator Exagear Strategies/RPG. However, there is no detailed video on RUclips.

There's 2 games that I have been wanting to play that are only on psp. Daxter, and there's a ratchet and clank. I got those back when the psp first came out. I'm excited to be able to play those again

@@maskedrapper1 same, the only games I remember from the psp are Daxter and ratchet and clank. They're hard to play on the touch screen controls though, your gonna want a controller

What would be awesome is if you could play PSP Games with dual analog controllers and use your own controller. A few titles like MGS Peace Walker would be so much better doing that!
That in fact does work now but only on the pc version of ppsspp. You can play with dual analog controllers
All you really need is a Dualshock 4 Controller; connect it to bluetooth on your handheld device and go ham with it.
The Analog doesn't really register well for fighting games though, it only reads Up, Down, Left Right.
It works well for me on all of my PSP games using the PS4 controller

I have the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, I have no issues running aethersx2, however I seem to be having issues running Silent Hill on the PSP emulator was wondering if you could give me any tips on getting it to run better. Should have no issues considering I have a Snapdragon 888.

Hi i dloaded some frm freeroms but theyre in apk files not iso , tried to extract the files but in ppsspp it says annot lapd game, failed initialising
Iv tried PPSSPP and it's awesome I would love to buy gold to help the devs out and I'm surprised that the Nokia c100 can run PSP ISOs under 200 MB just fine!

@@MrSujano I have two different ones that have phone clips, The Moga Hero and the Madcatz C.T.R.L.R.... and I've also had some interesting success plugging in usb arcade sticks into android devices via an OTG cable. It can be a very nice way to play fighting games and a good number of 80's classic games. If I recall, there's a good version of Afterburner on the PSP. That'd definitely be worth trying.

@@Gregoku yeah this thing is a great emulation machine. I can play most PSP games at 6x-10x native resolution no problem. With a Bluetooth controller it's a great experience. Heck even the on screen controls aren't bad in a pinch I was surprised at how decent they actually are.
@@TheFrogInYourClosetWatchingYou i would recommend moving the L and R keep to the top left and right respectively, so you can use your index fingers, makes it really fun that way
@@robknob8828 I prefer a control I use an Xbox controller but eventually I want a nice joycon style controller to snap onto the phone. It really bumps up the experience but the on screen controls also work surprisingly well once they are tweaked.

You need a powerful snapdragon processor that is atleast snapdragon 845 and up to run ps2 games at fool speed

Is there any way to make use of the right analog stick? Because I've tried everything I could but it just doesn't work.
Depending on the game you can map buttons like the D-pad (eg: Monster Hunter, god eater) to the right analog stick.

i have an s20 and there is no lag, if you want to save yourself some money there are plenty of amazon listings on the s20 for way less than a new s21, the s21's dont even have a new processor or anything.

@@ciellian download the game rom > unzip it > open ppsspp > search its folder there and done good to play .. i think there are many tutorial in utube .. idk if u still cant find it tho its just weird
