Hello Dr Yoo I want to ask you a question which facial features for ex ( the eye area , chin , jaw or nose ) to name a few has the maximum impact on making a face beautiful, I know every part of the face is important but which is most important in making a face beautiful aesthetically
It all depends on how good or bad each area is. For example, on an average face, eyes are more important than jaw. But on someone with very recessed jaws, correcting that would have more aesthetic benefit than improvements to be the eye area. In general tho, for men I would say good facial proportions, eyes, jaw, cheekbones then nose in that order. But it depends on the face

I'm one year post op from an over aggressive, aesthetically unpleasing rhinoplasty and now have breathing issues on top of that. My nasal bones are now crooked and nose leans to the right. Is it possible for revision to fix a crooked nose and breathing problems or is my structure compromised now?
I'm so sorry to hear that :( I am regretful everyday to have even went through with surgery. I have been thinking of making videos after I have my revison, as I'm embarrassed of my face now. I used to be very confident and now have sadly lost all confidence and stay inside my house. I agree, more people should know the dark side of surgery and the risks that happen more than you'd think.

Revision rhinoplasty does frequently involve restoring structure and support to a nose that has been previously compromised or weakened from over-resection during primary surgery. While it's not possible to return to your pre-operative nose, or to achieve a perfect nose, in the hands of an experienced rhinoplasty specialist it should be possible to achieve significant improvement in your breathing as well as your nasal appearance. As a junior in high school, I think it's important to expose yourself to the breadth of medicine as much as you can. I would try to volunteer at the hospital and shadow different types of doctors to see what it's like to be in a specific type of practice. From an academic standpoint, study hard. Great grades and strong standardized test scores are going to be required every step of the way. As you move along in your education, from college to medical school, look for mentors who have practices you would like to emulate. They will be your best resource for specific career advice. Just make sure you have enough spare money to pay for the surgery as well help you out in case you face a financial crisis after the surgery (ex. having to move out, etc. because of increased crime in your neighborhood, etc.). I would say that you should have at least $3k-$4k left in your bank after the cosmetic procedure. If you have $10k left in savings then that would be better. Take my advice because I've went through this experience myself. Wish you the best of luck.
