- Hello everyone! I thought I'd upload the best 079 round I had in the NEW Beta for "Refracted Reality" 13.0 so far. It's good, it's quick, it's BRUTAL, AND I get to use the new Breach Scanner Ability. Enjoy :)

Pretty hype for the update, still wish there were a little more (Player model changes, etc.)
they may suprise us and release player model changes or even the surface rework in the middle of the beta testing, honestly, its pretty unlikely, but there is still some hope

Thats the problem I have, youre just so good at the game that you cant play as an scp for more than 10 minutes. Sucks but also doesnt... but at the same time it does

Idk which is more satisfying. Being the Peanut to snap all those necks, or being the PC and getting all that XP haha.

I never cease to be amazed of how NW team handle the 079. This UI, gameplay and teamwork is so unique. Favourite scp and with that lighting and breach scanner it's just really comfy to play as computer.

I would like to meet Hubert, he is a nice guy. Also I thought 079 couldn’t lock doors anymore? Did they change it? Also the breach scanner is kind of weird, they said it was for people who where standing still, but whenever they start moving the scanner still tracks. I think it is too overpowered. Also that 939 voice line though 💀.
Not being able to lock doors was just an idea, also they said the breach scanner was meant for when you can't find anyone, aka to counter campers. Moving has nothing to do with it. And it aint that OP.
Yeah the locking doors thing was just a test in the PEARS session, which is more to test POSSIBLE ideas for the future. As for the Breach Scanner, I think it just tracks you if you've been in a general area for long enough (I believe it's a room's length?) so as long as you're not waiting in one spot for a long time (at least 20 seconds) then you should be fine. Keep in mind it's a Tier 4 ability as well, which usually you won't reach unless you play VERY well, or the round has gone on long enough where finding a few last people is necessary. Also yeah the 939 line was uh... something else lol. I got another pretty funny one from the same guy which I'll showcase in 939's gameplay tomorrow!
@@IceyManDude I'm curious to know how no door locking went. In my personal opinion door locking should either be heavily nerfed in how much you are able to use it (locked by a high tier and costing a LOT of power right out the gate for a short duration) or outright removing it. To be frank a good 079 player can still absolutely dominate the early game just by closing doors. I would much rather computer be a hazard, deploying gas, smoking a room, flashbanging humans (with a very clear audio/visual inidcator), providing info to the team, giving them access to areas they normally shouldn't be in. We've already seen how computer can assist a lot just by turning off the lights.
Fundamentally the only real way humans can survive an scp attack without weapons is doors, and the games balance is clearly designed around that. 079 has always been antithetical towards the games balance by removing and even entirely reversing the only counterplay humans have towards SCPs.

It's not gonna be gpu dependant now, it's now gonna be cpu dependent

I tought they were removing locking doors from 079
That was only an idea tested in the PEARS, which are sessions just meant to test POTENTIAL changes that could be added in the future.
