How do you reconcile your belief in earthly abundance should be granted to us as Christians with the fact that all the apostles, with the exception of John, were martyred gruesome deaths? Given that in Luke 22:32 Jesus prays for the apostles that their faith will not fail, then singles out Peter to strengthen his brothers (he goes from plural to singular), i don’t see it as possible the apostles fell to Satans attack.
