- “Blue Star" is an instrumental hit played by the Shadows. It features on the album “The Shadows “ which was recorded between 26 October 1960 and 21 June 1961 at Abbey Road Studios (Studio 2) on entirely analogue equipment in real time. Blue Star is a song written by Victor Young in 1955 to be the theme music of the television series, Medic.

Fabulous love your playing , my playing has had to take a back seat due to health but my guitar a Fender Squire is coming down off the wall complete restring and bone nut is overdue but you have renewed my get up and go , I need a couple of backing tracks etc, Shadows would appreciate any help you can give me thank you so much keep up doing what you are doing as you do it so well😀

I believe that music and health are strongly related according to my personal experience. As for the backing tracks you can find many Shadows BT on the net, but I can provide you some, just let me know the titles you are looking for. Cheers. Love the Fender black and white colour scheme. I can't remember seeing that on a Strat before and it's fabulous. Would go well with the Burns too obviously, I'm tempted to find one like yours now. Great playing and tone too, you make it look easy. Thanks for sharing your video 😊❤
Tks for your nice comment. I received this Fender Squier Affinity HH series for my birthday. First time I play on a Fender. As compared to a Fender Strat, it is relatively cheap. It reminds of the Burns guitar. Some may say it is a beginner's guitar , I personally like it as it is very smooth to play along and the sound is not too harsh and is very appropriate at reproducing cool Shadows slows like Peace Pipe, Tonight, Blue Star, Midnight, Sleepwalk and Spring is nearly here. Some of which I shall upload in a near future, so watch out and subscribe to get notified. Cheers!
